Man, im so pissed reguarding Dark Souls 3 lol. I am so close to the Dark Souls 3 platinum. Ive completed 3 playthroughs so far (NG+2). The only thing I needed to get the platinum was to collect ONE more gesture that you get from Yoel of Londor. Yoel of londor is relatively near the beginning of the game, no problem. Remember, this was the ONLY thing I needed to get the platinum. Well, on playthrough #4, when I meet Yoel of Londor, he gets aggroed and attacked by dogs and I panic attack and kill him. He dies, so I have to do another playthrough of the game just for that one trophy.

these two are incredibly hard to listen to. they're on par with Major Nelson cringiness
Ashley Jenkins is pleasing to my eyes....
Meg Turney is hotter.
I'm still convinced that the system uses an Android fork, and Nintendo is lying about that. Also, we are only hearing half of the story. I'm also convinced this system is only the handheld portion of the platform, and there still is a regular console.

@gpuking: That wouldn't make sense since, you know, MS Scorpio is supposed to release well after NEO. Seriously, why would Sony try to "ruse" MS into revealing Scorpio specs when they could easily change them after NEO is released?
Only problem is MS has absolutely no idea when Sony is gonna announce Neo's specs and they're not about to be like sitting ducks waiting indefinitely for it. MS have their own plan and if Scorpio with its current specs is to be launched on target then it will need to follow the set schedules, milestones etc. Of course, unless they plan to delay the launch and lose more market share to Sony.
Sony poised to launch in like 3-4 months:
"Sony has time to change it"
Microsoft poised to launch in 18 months:
"Microsoft's specs are set in stone. They're bound to ironclad schedules, and have no time to adapt to whatever Sony does"
How exactly do cows get desperate when PS4 is 40M+ sold lol? Neo no matter how powerful it is, would simply be the icing on the cake. You do realize PS5 is right around the corner when Scorpio releases right?
In only three posts, you go from Sony being Machiavellian master chess players with the ball in their court, to "just wait for the PS5"? lul.
.
Neo always had two models, model A and model B. Model A is the one with 4.2tf that DF has got their hands on, which is presumably to be the Ruse to lure MS out of the woods. Model B is the more expensive one with 5.5tf and a new CPU. It still wont win the power war but it would be very close in performance and the one year head start to the market would pretty much negate any power advantage Scorpio would have whatsoever.
The real winner is PS gamers since they can play enhanced multiplats and exclusives way earlier than Xbox gamers.
Back out of your poised E3 reveal on 2 days notice, leak a weak system to "ruse" microsoft, and then suckerpunch them with a second, also still weaker system poised . They wont see it coming.
If you cows honestly believe this to be some Machiavellian chess move by Sony, I have blinker fluid to sell you.
We can prepare for hours of the God of War flavored version of:
- hoist son up ledge, then get hoisted up back
- hoist son up to a ladder, drop it down
- hoist son up ledge/ladder, drop down crate
- Tap triangle/square repeatedly to open double-doors with son
- Move crates/ladders around, etc...

@mems_1224: u are dumb. That shitty Quantum Flop trash you bought day one was 8 hours. Uncharted 4 was 21 hours for me. Well worth it.
Dafuq? It took me 13 hours and 28 minutes to reach the end credits lol.

Didnt see a thread for this.
Back in early May the Nintendo NX rumour mill produced an interesting bit of chatter, with suggestions that the new system could utilise cartridges as media for its games, likely instead of discs. Like all rumours it was treated with a healthy dose of scepticism, but it wasn't entirely illogical - cartridge and memory card media is cheaper, smaller and has more storage than in the past (as seen with 3DS and Vita), and would suit hardware that potentially has both home and portable components.
Well, now there's extra fuel to the fire. Eagle-eyed NeoGAF user Atheerios noticed interesting wording in the US trademark filing for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In the goods and services category it lists 'video game cartridges' and 'video game memory cards':
Downloadable electronic game programs; downloadable electronic video game software; electronic game programs; electronic game software; video game cartridges; video game discs; video game memory cards; video game programs; video game software
This is interesting as, of course, it's a dual release on Wii U and NX. We checked multiple listings for Wii U games, and they only list discs and downloadable methods, while 3DS games naturally reference cartridges as a core category. As a note of caution some of these listings do try to cover bases for the future - in some cases 3DS games only list cartridge media and variations, while others (like for Ever Oasis and Monster Hunter Generations) also reference other media types.
With that cautionary note acknowledged, this is nevertheless an interesting spot. With Wii U and 3DS listings typically distinct in this area, the fact Breath of the Wild includes cartridges and memory cards does add an extra dynamic to the conversation over the distribution methods Nintendo will use with its NX hardware. With media such as cartridges and cards now supporting plenty of space and dropping in price, it's not an outlandish idea.
Let us know what you think below. Do you think it's feasible that we'll play the likes of Breath of the Wild off a small cartridge or card-based media on NX?
