[QUOTE="Sgt_Crow"]Final Fantasy IX, the best singleplayer game of all time.
My biggest gaming confession however is that to this day I have NEVER played a Zelda game. Ever. I feel like a piece of me is missing lol.StrongDeadlift
Duuuude... :( It's never too late to start though. :P

I know its bad. And I owned a gamecube, and used an N64 emulator before too.

I posted this in another thread but my biggest gaming confession is that to this day I have NEVER played a Zelda game. Ever. Not OOT, not MM, not Wind Waker, not Twighlight Princess. This is comming from someone who has owned a Gamecube before along with a certain computer program that plays N64 games which will go unnamed for moderation reasons. 8)

I feel like Metroid Prime 1&2/Super are the greatest single player games you can find today. For it's time I gotta say OOT though. I feel like the Zelda games have aged quite a bit, with the exception of MM and WW. The Metroid games on the other hand have literally not aged a day. Super Metroid is, what? A 16 year old game? It, however, is an amazing game. Metroid Prime is about hit it's 10th year soon now that I think about it :o

x2 on Metroid lol. Metroid Prime 1 is one of my all time favorites, but I didnt enjoy Metroid Prime 2 as much as the first.

[QUOTE="StrongDeadlift"][QUOTE="soulitane"] I'm going to take a stab and say you're most likely not going to be getting a console next gen. Gaming computers today as far as I know don't even need 8gb of ram.soulitane
Im not going to shell out for new consoles for a marginal improvement that is on par with what mid range PCs are doing RIGHT NOW. I dont need PC versions of 360 multiplats.

Good for you? :? I notice that you have infamous 2 in your sig, makes me wonder why considering the PS3 is much weaker than gaming PCs now and at it's launch.

Dont know what you mean by "good for you", I simply answered the question TC asked lol. And because I prefer consoles to PC. PS3 graphics are just fine for a current gen platform. PS3 graphics would NOT be just fine in a NEXT gen platform however. Dont know whats hard to understand about that.

We are talking about an ENTIRE generational leap here. Why would I buy a "NEXT GEN" platform that is only "on par" with hardware that is available today?

[QUOTE="StrongDeadlift"]

me. Although I will say it right now, and I absolutely mean this:

I WILL not touch next gen hardware unless it has at MINIMUM 8 gigs of ram (id prefer 16gb or 32bg of ram, because gaming PCs today use 8gbs). By the time next gen consoles come out, 16 and 32 gig single stick ram chips should alot be cheaper anyways.

But I am NOT buying a new console that is basically what gaming PC's today are capable of. That goes for Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.

Eff it then I guess. Im not going to shell out for new consoles for a marginal improvement that is on par with what mid range PCs are doing RIGHT NOW. I dont need PC versions of 360 multiplats.

[QUOTE="StrongDeadlift"]Nobody is talking about the advertisements in general.Stevo_the_gamer

Hmm.

And yes, the world of advertising annoys me LIKE NO OTHER.Messiahbolical-

By the way, on a related note, I do like the two advertisements in your signature.

:]

Dont know why you brought that up considering I havent said ANYTHING in this thread concerning my opinion on the ads until my last post, and I hadnt even read TC's link when I typed the post you quoted.

My post was directed at grown ass men, who are so passionate about an imaginary console war. It is rediculous, and while it is entertaining, I think it is sad that this is what gaming has come down to. People will not only just accept anything these corporations throw at them, but will defend it with their life. From the outside looking in, you can clearly see how rediculous it is. I have never seen a generation with fanboyism as pathetic as this gen.

"Microsoft is discussing plants to rape everyone's mom"

Cmon, it's not that bad, only 10 seconds, you're been raped before, this is nothing new, he has a small pecker, you won't even feel it.

And we get to play Halo and stuff.

ZombieKiller7

 This. And you know that is exactly what these guys would be doing too. Microsoft is not your family. You dont have to come to the rescue over every little thing someone says negative about them lol.

As for my opinion on the advertizements, I think it is stupid as hell, but lulzy. Anybody "normal" person who doesnt treat a corporation like its family members, can see that, and have a laugh while watching the demonstration video.

Nobody is blowing anything out of porportion in this thread. People in here just get offended over any negative attention towards their favorite corporation (which doesnt care about them). I will never know what drives what I presume to be a grown man (or 18 years old at the least) to be so loyal to a peice of plastic.

[QUOTE="Messiahbolical-"]Because according to you, you wouldn't't mind one bit which IMO is PATHETIC. Stevo_the_gamer
This might be a tad bit off subject from where you and him are going on about, but do you wear plain-color clothing, or clothing with logos on them? :]

Nobody is talking about the advertisements in general. They are talking about the fact that he feels personally attacked whenever someone says ANYTHING negative about Microsoft, like someone talked about his mom or something. Have you seen his posts in other threads? I thought he was "trolling", but I can tell by his posts in this thread that he is serious.

Really? Is is worth all that conviction in his posts? I think Sony is better and everything (even though I own both), but I dont cry whenever someone says something bad about PS3.Talk all you want about PSN, mandatory installs, etc.I am open to all platforms. That is because I am not a fanboy, and my loyalty does not lie with a corporation. Why do you think I come to system wars? Do you honestly think I (me being a college student with a life) give a rats ass about who "Wins teh console war"? NO. I come here to read posts by people like the poster in question.

Fanboyism is everything that is wrong with gaming lol.
