I forgot to say Valve earlier. Outside of Half-Life and Portal, I've not seen anything amazing from them. Left 4 Dead was okay for a mindless first-person shooter, I guess, but it doesn't have the level of polish or design that Half-Life has.jalexbrown

I say this all the time, but the online's gameplay is fun, but the way GG's set up the servers its awful. The only servers you find are pistol only, hour long games, or 1 map servers. Its awful. Its a prime example of what happens when you give the player to much control without having any dedicated servers to back it up, it turns into a cluster ****.

Back when half life came out shooters were basically mindless shoot em ups where you ran trying to shoot off as many faces of demons as you could. Half life was one of the first games to implement a plot, and really give you a driving force for your actions. With half life you werent just playing for the gun play, but you wanted to know what went wrong and black mesa and how you were going to stop the madness that you caused.

The orignal? As in 1.6? A 6 or so.

Pros: Good Teamwork based multiplayer. A good bang for your buck, free. Money/store system is a nice touch.

Cons: No singleplayer, no ranking system, no perk system, graphics are awful by todays standards, voice acting is attrocious.

I was going to go with machinarium, but after playing GOW 3 ill have to go with that. Everything, from the character models, to the envriorments, just goes together so well and creates a huge sense of chaos. Absolutley love it.

Crytek have stated they do not want to do what they did with Crysis, and show the game off years before it was released, as they hype dies off.

They said there next game they would start showing it off months before its release, to build as much hype as possible without it dying off.

I reckon come E3 we will see loads of footage and a release date of Sept-Nov.

They made a good decision by doing that. The first crysis was basically ruined because of all the different interviews and videos i saw of the game. The final product came out to be a different game then when i first read about it, which ended up really dissapointing me.

Yeah i just got L4Ds for 50% off last weekend. PSN does some good deals to though, every week it seems they have more items on sale, but most of the time the games are either not that good or i already have it.

This is one of those "one right answer" situations. ;)

Meh. Wesker was ruined in RE5. Some super powered freak who likes to dress in leather and say stupid things consistantly. Not only that but one of the worst boss fights ever. I was just really let down by how they handled wesker in RE5.

My choice would probably be Joker from Batman AA.
