The beta was really good, so im very excited for it. The creation tools are simply unmatched, the ease to make a course or character and how much detail you can put into it is amazing. Little big planets tools were great, but a little hard to use. This game you can literally make a high quality course in a hour.

Yeah i hate CGI cutscenes, and commericals for games. A big offender of this is L4D2. The game has pretty good graphics, i dont understand why they dont just use gameplay for commericals.

Also darksiders was pretty dissapointing going from the CGI to gameplay, but i still really enjoyed the game.

Its true, its not his internet connection, its just the way its set up i guess. I tried out my wii disk today and everything is smoother and faster compared to the ps3 version. But its not a big deal because anyone who finds something to watch by going through the menus is wasting their time. The best, fastest, and smartest way to watch something on the wii or ps3 netflix system(idk bout 360s) is to add stuff to your instant que from your computer and just select from there.

I still will be using my ps3 version the most just for the sake of watching HD content.

I feel bad for the TC because this thread is just going to blow over, big waste of time linking all of those pics.

Sounds great. The best part about GTA Iv's multiplayer was just joining in a party and messing around in the city. It was very limiting because there werent that many civilians and the cops were not activated. This sounds like a much improved version of that.

[QUOTE="rcignoni"]Looks like they ruined the horror part. Jet boosters were funny.sxdx89

You can't say they ruined the horror part when you saw a very small clip of the full game. Plus I'm pretty sure htey said that the game will blend horror and action, and will have a mix between the two.

Thats exactly what the first game did, i cant believe people dont get this yet.

wow, that doesn't make me want to rush out and buy a PS3 at all...

Zakeris

He isnt really trying to convey that message. He is just listing out some facts on why the ps3 is awesome. They are all true, but i still dont understand why this thread exists. Maybe we should all go out and make threads on why the 360, pc or wii are awesome.

To me it all depends on what kind of experience your going for. If im looking for a action packed experience, that makes me feel like im playing in a movie, ill go and play a linear game like Half Life 2. If i am looking for a game where my imagination can run wild ill play an open world game like GTA, Just cause 2, or Fallout 3.

The reason i think open world games are so popular because its like being a kid again, you dont have to follow a set story or path, you can go about and create your own, do what you want, make your own experience. The best parts of fallout 3 were not the story missions, they were generally bad, it was the side quests or me just wandering through the wasteland role playing, like me and my friends used to up and down my block when we were kids. In fallout 3 when i was wandering around id imagine my self as a man struggeling to make it in the wasteland, lacking food, and water, and the only persuasion i have with people is with my revolver, the only drive i have it trying to bring justice for those suffering as much as me. And i go from there.

Like i said before, it just depends what your looking for, but open world games let your imagination run wild.

[QUOTE="Dead-Memories"]

if only the game had a sensible plot to hold all of its prowess together.

Lol, I find that to be common this gen, where devs seem to spend less energy on story/gameplay/characters and more on graphix. On topic: I would like to know (in short) what are the differences between the MLAA used in GOWIII and the "other implementations" (the Saboteur?) they were talking about. Also, I'm sure that they used the Cell for other graphical tasks. How do they do it when 5 SPUs are used for AA? (sorry for my noobiness)

I think its just implemented in GOW 3 better. In the sabteur the jaggies were not as noticeable as in most games, but you could still notice them. In GOW3 they are very hard to notice from my experience.
