Aside from the graphics I am pretty sure Uncharted borrowed alot ofthings from GeOW.

They did, naughty dog said straight off the bat that they were inspired by gears of war. But those screens looks just like the second level in uncharted drakes fortune, where your walking through the jungle with Sully. I guess its nice seeing some color in a demonstration from epic, i really was starting to think those guys were color blind.

The only game i have ever passed up partially because of the female protaganist is Bayonetta. I just could not get past the over the top artstyle and main character. It just seems so overdone and annoying. Other then that i dont mind female main characters at all.

I think its pretty fair, 5 maps for the greatest FPS ever concieved by man, published by the most breath taking developer in the gamming buisness. I would feel cheated if they asked for anything less.

I believe it can replicate a mouse, it would be a little shaky because its not on a solid platform like a mouse, but precision wise i believe it. The reason i wouldnt want to play an RTS with it or anything is because of lack of keyboard. Even with a sub controler you wouldnt have the organization of a keyboard, let alone the same amount of buttons.

It was a fun game, but there are better games out there. They made alot of weird development choices, some good, some bad.

These awards are pretty meaningless. For instance they UC2 the award for best writing over DA? Really? I've noticed that uncharted is getting awards and nominated in categories it clearly doesn't deserve to be.

Uncharted does have some good writing, the conversations the characters have are very fluid and believeable, the story is decent, and the characters themselves are good. I hear DA has great character development and interactions, but ive been told the story is pretty weak. I've been told Mass effect 2 is better in all instances then dragon age, but i havent played either yet, and do not intend on playing DA.

I think its a good name, it represents what they wanted to do with the xbox brand, a 360, and that they did. Went from being last place and not so known to being in second and being the most popular console in the US next to the wii.
