[QUOTE="akbar13"]

Can someone who bought the game still get the DRM crack?

Baranga

Yes.

I remember Ubisoft used a crack to fix a bug in one of their games, GRAW 2 I think. They released a patch that contained the crack:lol:

Bethesda did the same with FO3. If you downloaded the patch you could launch the game by executing the patch instead of using a disk. It was nice because i hate having to put a disk in everytime before i play so i just used the patch to launch my game.

yes...NOW.

But what about when crysis was released? how much did it cost to build a computer to run it at highest settings, 60 fps, and a decent Resolution...? alot.

WilliamRLBaker

Its like that everytime a new game graphic powerhouse was released. When half life 2 came out it was the same way, now you can run half life 2 on on all high settings with a 150-200 dollar rig.

FEAR 2- The demo sucked on PS3, but i tried it out on PC like i should have in the first place and bought it right after. It was one intense ride, the ending was bad, but the gunplay is excellent.

Calling all cars- An excellent downloadable title, it had this competitive feel that matched playing smear the queer when you were a kid. Its a damn shame the community didnt last long.

Halo has good music, but i still prefer Half lifes. They dont use the music to much in the game, but whenever they do its used at the perfect time. It always adds so much to the experience also, it really makes those intense moments feel much more important.

1. Better enemy AI.

2. Splitscreen or COOP, preferably both.

3. Better story telling, the game has a great universe, but they did a poor job conveying the story. Hell they did a better job telling the worlds story on their website then in the game.

4. Tweak the multiplayer greatly. Put in dedicated servers, tweak classes, etc. The biggest fix needed is adding dedicated servers and removing player run servers. The game died online because the only servers you could find were pistol only, 2 hour long games, or servers with only 2 maps in the rotation. The community collapsed on itself because GG's gave us to much control over the game.

I agree with TC 100%. I play it on PC, but if i could pick 1 franchise to bring over to PS3 it would most likely be mass effect. Possibly LFD, but thats just because i have alot of zombie loving friends on ps3.

Love it... sounds awesome.

Now i only hope the PS3 version is not buggy as all hell.... like the Fallout 3.

did they ever patch the game?

SaudiFury

The ps3 version was fine. I played it 4 times on PC and got the ps3 version for 20 bucks and it played just like the unmodded PC version, the only difference is the PC version had better graphics, mainly in draw distance.

On topic: I think it sounds great. Im not surprised, nor dissapointed that it looks like fallout 3. The only gripe i have with the game engine is the animations are pretty crappy, i hope they tweak them a little, but i doubt they will.

[QUOTE="Modern_Unit"]

You're the same guy who predicted GOW3 will get a 10 or you'll leave SW right? Okay...

fiyerman48

I never said I would leave system wars lol. There was never any condition, I just said i thought it would get a 10. And most of the people who disagree with me are less qualified to make a statement like that, as Ive read almost every preview and watched all videos & soaked up ALL information reguarding GOW3, whereas the doubters not only are less educated on the game as I am, they are basing their feelings purely off of what they "think" it will score, what they "hope" happens and their own personal feelings (which are more-often-than-not purely knee jerk, and fueled by partiality towards the other platform)

I am really looking forward to GOW 3, but ill have you know from experience soaking up ALL information on a game does not make you any more knowledgeable, infact, i find it to usually be a bad thing for when you finally get the game. My biggest example is crysis, i followed every article and video for it from the day it was announced. I was an active member on two fan sites, and was really hyped for it. When it came out it had a great score(not as good as i thought), but i left dissapointed. Since i knew what they were hyping for the game since the begining i knew what they left out, so a lot of the things that i expected to be in the game were not, so even though i liked the game, i was very let down. So not only did i hype the score wrong, but i also left dissapointed from the game.
