If you like these types of games, then yes, the Wii is definitely worth buying to play them. They are pretty much the best examples of their individual genres. Well, Zelda: TP, Galaxy, and Brawl are. MKWii and Tales aren't out yet, but I'm sure they'll be some level of awesome!

Or you could always take a jump and do it your self....

Wow...is that what kids are making in wood shop these days. When I was there it was all spice racks and matchstick houses. Guess I was sick that day :)

Who knows? They gave us Bully and Table Tennis, so the series could possibly come to the Wii. Rockstar released the GTA 1 on the GBA.

I do agree with them though: the GTA games don't really seem to fit the Wii's style. I'd say if someone wanted to make a sandbox crime type game, it'd have to be like No More Heroes; the game would have to be the video game equivalent of a B movie (not that that's a bad thing...NMH is awesome!). So basically, it would be GTA mixed with Evil Dead; a San Andreas starring Bruce Campbell. Not a bad idea, actually.

I'd drop a few bills on this title. Hell, all I have to do is tell my mom they're bringing Dr. Mario back and she'll give me the money herself; playing the original was the only time she spent near my old NES.

Beat up random strangers...rob banks...rampage downtown Tokyo...

I guess gamewise, I'd try to play multiplayer games without putting too much stress on my brain and pass out. Imagine playing one of those battle Tetris games? As soon as the game begins, you'd just keel over!

That's pretty sweet that I'll finally be able to play a recent Bomberman game that has 8 players. As long as it's a straight up, old school Bomberman title (no platforming or edgy new characters) that features online play, I'll be more than satisfied. WiiWare just sounds better and better!

And now for a brief moment of pathetic vanity...1000th post! What do the kids say nowadays? "w00t"? Yes, well..."w00t" indeed!

[QUOTE="Swifty_Magee"]

Are you seriously going to add a million people to your Friend's List? Seriously? You know "hundreds of thousands" of people?

I just added 3 more, btw...took about 2 minutes. Call me crazy, but I can waste two minutes without demanding Nintendo to give me my money back or pronouncing that something is "fail".

Actually, with replies like this, I'm really starting to like the idea of Friend's Codes...that you can filter out people you don't want to enteract with. Brilliant service, really.

You prove my point perfectly. It is not possible to put on every person that you might play at any given time. Having only a few friend codes means you can't play with over 99.9% of the people online. This fails, big time! So what if you added 3 more or 300 more. This is such a small number compared to the people out there, that it is worthless and pointless. I just want to get one, and I finally did, after 10 mins! What a joke!

You do realize that with 5 people in your list, you won't even be able to play a single full race for Mario Kart Wii. That's why friend codes are beyond worthless. Plus, where is the lobby like in MoHH2. That game is awesome for findind people fast!

Point me to the link if I'm wrong, and I may be because I haven't been keeping track of MKWii that heavily, but I believe you can use both Friends Codes and play randomly, just like Brawl. Except in MKWii, supposedly the random online matches won't be gimped like they are in Brawl. It might even feature some sort of lobby, but again, not sure.

And if Nintendo loses, their minds, says "screw that" and makes online Friend Code mandatory, I'll do the same thing I did today: add "Mario Kart Wii code: " to my sig and wait for PMs. By the end of the first day or two, I'll have more than enough friends to game with. And I'll spend (oh noes!) 5 minutes putting them all in the game.

So again, to reiterate my original point: Friends Codes...not that big of a deal.

Mine isn't that bad.
Lunar52

Mine wasn't that bad either when I got it fixed, but quality will degrade overtime.

Listen, if you don't want to get it fixed, that's fine. It's your console and your time, after all. But when you see a problem, and can get it fixed completely free, it just seems weird not to. You said you live in Canada and it would take $30 to send a parcel. Well wouldn't you want to pay $30 now and not $250 later. Unless you don't like the Wii that much, in which case I'd say let die if you want.

Like many people will say in this thread, you can always get skins for your Wii and it's controllers. Personally, while a Black Wii would be nice, I'm not really concerned since I already have the system.

And yeah, they showed these pics when they were first revealing the Wii, but I don't believe Nintendo actually said they'd sell them in different colors. This pics could have just been made to excite gamers to the Wii's release. Don't worry, though...it's Nintendo! They'll eventually release different colored Wiis, right before they release Wii 2.0 that will feature better graphics. Then the Wii Advance that will be smaller, have even better graphics, and a backlight!!!
