Hey you guys. I don't know if this has been brought up yet or not, but IGN just released this article about downloading and uploading user-created stages through them. You can find more information by going to THIS page. All you need is the game (obviously), an SD Card, and a PC or Mac.

Like I said, if this is already known, sorry for posting, but I thought this was too cool to keep to myself!

And I just submitted my first stage to the site. Click on the link in my sig to check it out. A few moving platforms, and two spike traps that if you hit an enemy just right, you can launch him/her into the next one! It's a little modest, perhaps, but still pretty sweet!

I played a few web games, but the only one that stands out in my mind was a web version of Clash n' Slash. It's basically a demo version of the retail game (weapons were missing, you could only get so far, etc.). The Wiimote worked as well as the mouse did, perhaps slightly better. If you go to the link, you can try it out for yourself.

[QUOTE="Swifty_Magee"]they release Wii 2.0 that will feature better graphics. WolfWatch

uhhh? then will they make games only for Wii 2.0? if it has better graphics then the wii 1.0 cant play it? so i think that statement is incorrect. correct me if i am wrong.

That was just a joke, dude. You know; I was making fun of Nintendo's trend to release a piece of hardware, then a year or two later, release a slightly improved version. Like I joked in the next sentence that they would release the Wii Advance. I'm not serious...but in all honesty, if that's what happened, I wouldn't be shocked in the least.

And they did actually pull something like that with the N64. After a few years, they released the Expansion Pak that added RAM to the system. From then on, certain games wouldn't run on the console unless you had the Pak inserted. A cheap and unnecessary move? Maybe, but it shouldn't come as a big surpise. How many Game Boys have there been?

Haven't tried playing games directly from Miniclip, but I have played flash games on my Wii's Internet Channel. The games I played specifically said "for the Wii" or "Wii-friendly", but I'd think your average point-and-click flash games would work with the Wiimote.

Get the Nintendo ones for 29.95

Don't screw with cheaper outs

Jaysonguy

Dude, they all work the same. Nintendo will just charge you more. It's the same thing with their official SD Cards: with them, you pay $50 for something you can get for $20.

I don't know a lot about HDTVs, so the only help I can offer is to buy some component cables. You don't need the official Nintendo ones; I've heard people who have gotten some for around $10. Just searched around Google and found these Madcatz cables that are about 13 bucks, but you can probably find some even lower if you search.

Project H.A.M.M.E.R.: put on hold indefinitely (cancelled). I hope they come back to it's development, since I thought it looked cool.

Disaster Day of Crisis: TBA, but believed to come out this year. If it got delayed further, I wouldn't be surprised.

Probably a stupid question but... who is Bruce Campbell?epayps2

You know that image you see sometimes in TV or other forms of media? The guy with the chainsaw hand and the shotgun? That would be Bruce. All hail the king!

Totally forgot about The Godfather. That was a good GTA-style game, and a good game in it's own right. So yeah, I suppose you can make a GTA game without it being slightly goofy, but personally I like the goofy games better. Or maybe I just like Bruce Campbell?

I use the Gamecube controller with a modified controle scheme. That works great, but besides that, I think the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo is pretty good. I don't have a classic controller, but I've used the Wiimote only, and that was alright, though I wouldn't go online using that unless I spent a few hours in training. The lack of buttons really hurts the Wiimote only controls.

The T-Wireless, I heard, is a pretty good controller. I also have heard the 360 controller comparison made. I may pick it up if I ever need a classic controller.
