@Salt_AU: We'll see. I got my Pip-Boy Edition ordered and some days off work, but it'll be buggy as all hell on launch (and for MONTHS after) and Todd Howard has stretched the truth before (remember all that talk about "microeconomies" and "endless quests"?), so it's best to remain skeptical.

@Horndawgie: For a game that offers hundreds of hours of gameplay (I'm coming up on 200+), tW3 is surprisingly less-buggy than I anticipated. I encountered one bad bug where a character didn't appear where he was supposed to and I couldn't progress that side quest. I saved it for later (there's so much to do that it didn't matter that I had to wait for it to be patched because there were other quests that needed doing) and CDPR patched it relatively quickly.

For a game this size, it's completely understandable that bugs exist, and that patches to fix certain bugs will inevitably create new bugs. I'm thoroughly impressed with what the devs shipped, and their efforts to continually fix any issues. Compare that with MGSV's massive lose-all-progress bug. Yikes. Or Arkham Knight's general rushed BS. These are important distinctions to make when discussing patches and the frequency in which they are created.

It's because of the connected nature of games nowadays that allows massive games like the Witcher 3 and Skyrim to exist. If devs couldn't share patches, we wouldn't have these awesome games.

@kyelo: I really doubt they'll make the other two decks (though I would love to be proven wrong). The NR and Nilfgaard sets were included with the XB1 collectors edition and if CDPR was to include them with the next dlc, those buyers (and the ones that solely bought the decks for hundreds of dollars off eBay) would be up in arms.

GotY! GotY!

As a fan of MGSV:PP, it's got nothing on the Witcher 3. CDPR's interactions with their players compared with Konami's speak volumes.

Thank you for posting this actual gaming news/well written article, Zorine and Gamespot. (No really, I mean it, this is why I come to this site. Not for those "Watch the new Hunger Games trailer" posts you guys having been making more and more frequently).

It's not AC, they wouldn't announce the new one before launching Syndicate and milking that particular installment (I would love it if they went back in time though, that would be so much more interesting than what they've been doing for the past five years...).

I'm thinking Far Cry 5 too, someone already pointed out the handprint (five fingers), which is all I've noticed so far.

There's an awful lot of crescent-shapes going on, and the number 6 (six background dudes, 6 spears,, 6 trees).

??

Deus Ex Human Revolution already did this theme, and they did it better.

**** Activision.
