"Backwards compatibility is impossible, it's a hardware thing, we're not full of bull****, guys, honest"

Good times, the XB1 launch, good times.

@Tiger_Ali: Hell no. If tW3 doesn't get it, then all hope is lost. Unlike Konami, CDPR actually gives a damn about their players, which is unheard of in this day and age. MGSV was fun, but I'm so far I'm getting 100+ more hours out of tW3 and I still haven't done the DLC. "Base Insurance" should disqualify MGSV /:

Halo AI has always been trash. At first I thought it was simply Bungie (which Destiny proved), but now 343i is doing it too. Yikes.

I am stupidly happy there are two females per team. Now I'm not saddled with "the girl" character every ******* time, a la Left 4 Dead, I have a choice! Wow! Unbelievable!

@deviltaz35: Right, that's what I'm saying. The Witcher pass costs less and yet I would still be willing to pay more for it because of the content that's involved (even though it's technically only two expansions), whereas EA is charging a boatload for minimal effort and content (and are offering four "expansions").

I would be more inclined to pay $50 for the Witcher season pass, with the level of quality and the hours upon hours of playtime you get (with just two expansions, compared to"four"). Why anyone would give EA an extra $50 for some crummy map packs and an emote is beyond me, especially since Siege and Halo have both announced that they will provide free maps in order to not segregate their fanbase and lengthen the game's lifespan. Sure makes it easy to see this is a quick cash-grab, since they don't care about the longevity of their game.

Battlefront is turning out to be the "Disappointment of the Year".

@rush86: Right? I totally understand that there's only so much that can be done with a boxed in field like MGSV's two locations, but those repeating side ops were so... artificial. "MGSV has 150 Side Ops!" Suuuure.

@immortality20: I was in the same boat initially with tW3 (and Shadows or Mordor and Watch Dogs, haha), even after being a fan of the first two games. The combat just wasn't "AMAZING" (what I perceived upon starting, anyway) to justify the time the game required to really learn how to use it and it ended up spending about a month just sitting on the shelf. But, like others have said, definitely give it another shot. The sword-play gets infinitely better if you use oils/runes on your blades (freezing enemies and setting them on fire AND poisoning them? Awesome.) and craft potions that affect Geralt's abilities and then mix up your signs once you get far enough along to put skill points where they need to be (like I set a dude on fire, used the higher-tier Axii sign on him, and he ran over to attack his friend, setting off a cloud of explosive gas left by a bomb I threw earlier and took out three others). For what it's worth, I'm playing on the hardest difficulty now after beating it and am having so much more fun than I ever did on Normal, just because it forces you to use everything the game has.

(Sorry for the long reply, just really love the Witcher! Lol)
