I think it got misboxed or something. they usually come with about 6 or 7 gigs of crap on them. I definitely sounds like you got a 20 gig. Take it back.

I really love the technological advancement of 10 minute game updates. As opposed to the "other" consoles 4 second updates. And I really love the blu-ray player that I couldn't care less about but had to fork out more money for. And my favorite part about the blu-ray is the fact that you HAD to buy it and they didn't even give you the cables to use it. And I love the mandatory install because of said blu-ray read speeds that I am going to have to buy a larger harddrive or just wait for a half hour everytime I want to play a game because I deleted it trying to conserve space. What a great GAME system.:roll:

It says its in widescreen mode but the actual display is a square and the whole tv isn't used. There are 2 black parts, one on the left and one on the right of the tv where nothing is displayed. It says its in widescreen mode but it is only displaying the center of the tv (as if it was a standard tv and not a widescreen).is it just with a certain game or is the dashboard like that?

How is it a waste? I believe sony said they made more money the 1st week then the video store did so it gives money to do more things.
