@BigBossWato It was after the half hour of talk about how it's a cable TV box for a new generation.

@Nintendological Actually *2* exclusive were shown: Forza Motorsport 5 and Quantum Break. Granted, what was shown was cutscenes and trailers, but it was still shown.

But I still thought the whole thing was "Meh." It was supposed to make us excited and ready to watch the E3 footage to learn all the details, but the only thing of any interest to me out of the entire hour was the reveal that Steven Spielberg is producing a Halo TV series -- which will be a "premium" service. And Spielberg never mentioned the show. He just said that he used to play Pong, and that video games have evolved since then, to be almost on a par with movies.

I was a little excited to see the reveal, curious about the new console. Then I found out it's a glorified cable TV box, powered by Kinect, and that it allegedly plays games. Now... I don't care about the next XBox, anymore.

@mlcarter815 @mrsniper83 If they even *have* a connection. My mom has no internet right now, because she can't find any providers in her area other than one that had to install a cell phone tower near her house. High wind knocked down the mast, and they told her "Yeah, sorry. I guess we *don't* provide internet out here," and closed her account.

@bledsoe45sbc @Mimorpg ditto. I also don't have a tablet or smartphone, so... yawn.

@b74kd3th You know, I didn't even think about that. When I buy a game I've never played before, I do it on a throwaway profile, in case I hate the game, so that the achievements I'll never even try for don't clutter up my profile. I don't want to have to buy a *second* copy (or pay a fee) so I can play it on my main profile.

Add to that the fact the Kinect will now automagically sign you in to the same profile every time, and... meh.

@bmart970 Exactly. I have the original XBox for those games that the XBox 360 can't play. When I got my first PS2, I kept my PS1, and when I finally got a PS3, I kept the 2 previous iterations. I have a GameCube *and* a Wii.

And guess what? The only one of them I use is the X360. Who has time for all those games?

@Sevenizz @Max_160 Actually, the "Actual gameplay" in the MS announcement was CG cutscene *trailers*.

@VarHyid @TI99Kitty @demondogx Why? Was it done by those blocky MW3 arms, or was it done by the arms so realistic YOU CAN SEE THE DIRT UNDER ITS FINGERNAILS!!! O_O
