Have they consulted actual gamers or played any games when coming up with their profile of the way gamers supposedly think? I'm a gamer and that's the stupidest description of a gamer I've ever heard. In the code of a gamer, if somebody else kills you, they get your points? Seriously? Their ignorance is showing big time here.

Hmm, $60-$70 for boring games with lots of fancy cutscenes on console or $0 for a PC game that's actually fun to play (Dota 2)? That's a tough one...

Hmm, it's gonna be hard to get back into SC2 now that Dota 2 is here. I guess having too many good games to play is a nice problem to have.

Surely Nintendo attracts top talent, people who can take advantage of the void left by Miyamoto's eventual departure to shine and bring new creative vision and direction to the company. Let's hope so.

Nintendo put a lot of effort into Nintendoland. When I play it I get the impression that Nintendo expected the game to be a big hit and generate solid system sales until other big games are completed. It just didn't work out that way and the Pikmin 3 delay sure didn't help.

@Daian Hardcore gamers will see the difference but a good chunk of them seem to be moving over to PC gaming. Casual gamers will have access to very cheap PS3s and Xbox 360s with a big catalog of games that look pretty good. The average joe doesn't have half a grand sitting around for this stuff.

I think PS4 and Xbox 361 may be a hard sell as well with a $400-$500 entry price to play games that look only slightly better. We shall see though.
