To be honest I think price point is juuuust at the upper limit of what it can take.

$10 would probably be the sweet spot, but honestly it *does* have an extremely memorable story that actually moved me.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get it, but right now it's just too crowded on the gaming scene for me to pick up :-/

I really loved the previous Anno games, so I am glad to hear that the reviews are looking good

Nothing dodgy about my link :p

But yeah, even if you don't read my review I still think you should check out the game.

You can also try it out in a 1 hour free demo that you can grab at the official To The Moon site (I'll skip posting any links ;) )

Sure. I think Oblivion is a really great game. But Skyrim is clearly head and shoulders better.

But a $45 price difference is significant, so if you're really strapped for funds, then Oblivion is still worth it at the discount price, IMO

Hey

Any of you tried out the indie game "To The Moon"?

I just finished writing up my thoughts about it:

I was actually quite positively surprised. Even though it's more of an interactive story than it is a video game, it managed to really emotionally engage me in the story and it was a nice few hours away from the "heavy hitters". Kinda nice to spend a few hours with something like this after a marathon session of Skyrim

Doesn't seem too bad to me at all.

I agree with a lot of the other posters that something like Metal Gear Solid 4 is a good example of too many cutscenes (at least in my opinion).

I'm really into Dawn of War 2. There's a decent amount of people playing, so you should be able to get matched within a couple of minutes.

Great focus on tactical play and I love the visceral carnage of the combat

I'm a big fan of Orcs Must Die!

Actually also did a little review of it in my site:

Some very good pacing in that game I think. Dungeon Defenders doesn't quite hit the right spot for me

WoW is still perfectly playable, and if you're not interested in playing ToR, then it's probably going to be the most polished MMO experience for a very long time (at *least* until the release of Guild Wars 2, which is probably still a long way off).

I don't really think you need to go out and buy an account though. It doesn't take very long at all to level up a character, and it helps you build attachment if you've actually played the guy up from scratch yourself.

Other than that I can't see any reason why not to go ahead and play some more WoW
