Well i beat Battlefront 2 and i have to admit, it was pretty darn fun. Playing as Star Wars characters in classic battles never gets old. I blew up rebel starcruisers and ran around hoth as a snowtrooper and i enjoyed it. The only problems were near the end of the game the AI was insane. I couldn't capture a command post on the final mission with out getting myself killed 5 to 15 times. Also, some of the time limits can make you crazy. On the Yavin 4 space mission you have about 10 minutes to finish 75% of the mission. You get 2 minutes to defeat the first 25%. Yea that may not sound bad but the first half of the mission is destroying large ships. 5 of them. Right. Then you get a brief respite where you destroy their 2 frigates. The second part involves destroying 10 fighters, the rebel ship's heavy guns, and about 8 engines. And i only have 5 minutes to do this? Gosh. Anyway, the game was great. Sniping battle droids in the head never gets old, and with the ability to play as heroes like Boba Fett and Darth Vader, the battlefield is an everevolving struggle. Too bad they didn't have a CIS/Rebel campaign but i can see why they didn't make one. Now seeing as i'm readdicted to the Battlefront series i'm going to play through the story mode on number 1. Well yesterday i finished Kingdom Hearts 2. It was an awesome, deeply involving game but the storyline was skippy sometimes and the ending was unsatisfying. I mean come on. What game doesn't have a "New game +" feature? Wow lets see, Epic War 3 beats Kingdom Hearts 2 in replayability. Sad. Anyway it was a great game with fun characters and an innovative combat system. After beating it i decided to finish the Story mode in Battlefront 2. Also, since i need one game per system i have, i've decided to redo the Age of Mythology campaign after a game wipe. Woot? Anyway in light of the recent discussion on ROMs i might add them to my games list, but i still need a bit of confirmation. Anyway, bye everyone.

Alot of us have encountered ROMs before. Old games tailored to work with the computer or another system. For instance an NES ROM on the computer, or a downloadable game on the Wii. These however, have their differences. On the Wii you payed for the game, and it isn't using another software program, just the Wii itself. On the computer however, you most likely downloaded the software and found ROMs online. So heres the question: Do computer ROMs count as games? I know i have a few ROMs on my computer but i havn't added them to my games list. Some people probably have. The point is that if ROMs do count as games, people can use them to unfairly influence their account standing. Some jerk could add only high rated ROMs to his game list and improve his score. Or, he could get an afficiando emblem for having alot of ROMs. So the question really is, should we consider ROMs real games? Well Gamespot members, that it up to us as a community. If we act like ROMs are games, then they will be considered games. For those of you who havn't tried a ROM yet and know how to use computers, go download one. You may not find any Mario or Pokemon games but don't fret (some organization or other outlawed letting people download them) , there are plenty of other games. Have fun everyone and keep gaming.

Hey everyone. I just recently unlocked Marth, Roy, and Young Link on Super Smash Bros Melee so that should be finished soon. Ok now to the main point. After hearing that Command and Conquer 4 was coming out i got pretty excited, i played i believe either one or red alert about 5 years ago and i never remembered the name until now. I found Command and Conquer: The First Decade on Amazon.com and, having a bit of cash i was wondering if A. It was worth it and if B. I should buy it. I think $20 is a good deal for 12 CAC games. What does everyone else think?

Well i was recently writing this huge editorial on why games go obsolete and guess what happens? A telemarketer calls and messes with my internet so my computer dies and i lose the paper i've been writing for half an hour. I hate people sometimes :(

Well recently i attained 12 friends and judging from soulreavercross's emblem guide i should have a new emblem for that, but i don't... Anyway, i just beat Guitar Hero 3 on medium difficulty a few days ago. I wanted it beaten on some difficulty so i sat down and did it all on medium in a day. I also started a co op band with my sister, i'm on hard and she's on medium. So, after playing TTFATF (Through the fire and the flames) i think i might just right a review about this sinisterly wonderful and addictive game. Heh i even got my favorite saint george guitar :) Anyway i've gone back and picked up Kingdom Hearts 2 and i'm really close to beating Pokemon Platinum. Im right about to fight Cynthia. I might take my sister's harvest moon game and play that, but i'd rather pick up a new game somewhere. Anyway, see you all later.

Well i beat GH3 on medium seeing as hard is insane, and unlocked my favorite guitar :P Now i'm going back to kingdom hearts 2. Just beat the boss i got stuck on so, woot! Anyway, i got AOM gold edition to work so thats cool. Look out for more posts soon. i might go back to aerosmith...

Well my memory card went insane yesterday. I got on to check out my GH3 songs and the file was corrupt. I really hope that the other files aren't, because i have battlefront and battlefront 2 files with general ranks, as well as a finished GH: Aerosmith game. Darn you memory cards! The same thing happened to my Game cube last week. I lost a nearly finished Pikmin 2 and clash of ninja 2, a pretty much finished DBZ: Budokai, and several other games. Why is hardware so hard to get along with these days?

Anyway i've decided not to try the Overlord 2 demo just because it's so hard to locate and my computer had one of it's spastic shutdowns about halfway through the download. Bleh. The conduit looks insane, but considering all my Nintendo technology is either handheld or old, i'm disappointed. It's just been a generally bad week in my gaming. Meh, i'm gonna go get back to that online game i've left in the corner for a few months.

Well i'm officially going to try out that Overlord 2 demo and see if it's any good. Who knows, maybe i'll buy it. I'm getting a summer job babysitting a neighborhood kid so i should have some spare cash on hand to buy games. I think i'm probably going to try and pick up a Katamari game and then maybe sneak Fallout 3 or Diablo. So if anyone has any babysitting (i know him pretty well) tips or ideas for games to buy pm or comment. Thanks. By the way played vice city yesterday and noticed an obscene amount of racist content. For instance when i shot a black dude nothing happened but when i gunned an old lady i got a star. I thought the days of racial inequality were long gone. Anyway, good game all around still.
