@Bread_or_Decide: I'm somewhere between this. I don't mind playing the latest WOW expansion, for example, for a few months until I "beat it" and then I move on to something else. I FEEL like I got my money's worth, whereas someone else might pine for more and more "endgame" content.
I pre-ordered Div 2 and we'll see when I feel like I got my money's worth and move on. :)
@Vodoo: It's a big planet, but I'm sure there will be some overlap in missions. Maybe take a mission, play it co-op, and keep track of places you want to explore later. Or only play with friends. :)
I really loved the addition of the re-deployable, especially in Soaring 50's. It creates better mobility and options for traversing the map quickly and getting away from combat.
the only negatives I can see are those instances when it deploys automatically and prevents fall damage, with no required response from the player. If I shoot a plane down or knock someone's platform out from under them, auto-deploying and falling to safety robs me of that strategy. All they need to do to counter this is require the player to push a button as they fall.
BUT I don't think it should be an item you have to find. IDK.
@drod0756: Agreed. "This is where Red Dead 2 tests your patience, and it can feel like you're fighting against the game just to play it." yeah, sorry, RDR2 is NOT fun and I know I'm not the only on that lacks that patience.
@rudra07: said right here: This is where Red Dead 2 tests your patience, and it can feel like you're fighting against the game just to play it. Yup. sorry, but that does not make for GOTY.
