I have to admit, I'm a little worried and sad based on this update. I'm hoping that they announce the Xbox 4X "Scorpio" available THIS year. Next year, even with true PC gaming and VR support might be a little late to the party.
yeah, me too. to do TRUE 4K gaming at decent framerate, they'd have to sell it for way too much money. my guess is they mean 4K MEDIA (movies and TV shows) and maybe 1440p/60 like you said.
1. He said he doesn't want people to have to take their consoles apart to upgrade.
2. He said he wants to get rid of the idea of "generations" and make it so every game is playable on future devices, from now on.
3. He said that if they do upgrade, they aren't going "point 5" upgrades, that it will be substantial. 4x the power IS substantial. that's not an upgrade, that's a new generation. and he NEVER SAID they would not have a new generation.
I really enjoyed Destiny for awhile. Some of the expansion stuff fixed issues a lot of people had. But as the game grew, some of the minor gripes I had turned exponentially into bigger gripes. Like no maps. It got impossible to do missions that said "wait at such and such valley to kill so and so" when NOTHING in the game told you where that was. ugh.
and don't get me started on no matchmaking. really? REALLY?
Seeing it regardless, but my expectations are low. I'm expecting great dialogue with 2-4 main characters and everyone else will be strangely mute. those extra characters will be chosen at random, as if an ignorant Fox boardroom had a huge chart of available mutant characters and just chose ones that looked cool. and then cool CGI fight scenes. but we'll see!
