Aside from the fantastic worldbuilding, storytelling, and feel and atmosphere of the games, one imo important thing you forgot to mention is that, particularly in Soul Reaver 2, you will find both some of the best dialogue, and best voice acting EVER in a videogame. Also, the opening theme song in the first game is nothing short of epic.

Why in god's name was he sentenced to 4 months in prison though? That's insanity. He should be fined only AT MOST. Just when I thought UK law and law enforcement couldn't get any dumber.

As a massive fan of the first two Paper Mario games, I've always wanted to get into the Mario & Luigi series, but I just can't handle playing handheld games, on tiny monitors, so I never could...This new entry being a Switch home console game means I can finally have my chance! The game looks awesome!

Also really excited about the new Mario Party game. Classic style, and SEVEN maps! FINALLY the series seems to be back in form, like the good old days!

That Zelda game isn't for me though...That gameplay doesn't look like fun to me. ('^_^ )

Not the article I was expecting when I read the title...I was expecting something about how we're finally getting (remakes of) proper Mario RPG games again (Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door), or how we're getting home console versions of good games that were previously handheld only (Luigi's Mansion 2). Both things that I am very happy about. Meanwhile, this article is...supremely pointless and uninteresting imo...

Such overkill imo. I bet my eyes and brain wouldn't even be able to appreciate the visual difference at all. Graphics, graphics, graphics. Performance, performance, performance. It's all these new Sony and Microsoft consoles care about. I love my PS4, but that's because of all the cool games on it. In the end, the games library on a console is the only thing that really matters imo. The Switch is nowhere close to the PS4 in graphics, but I still love it, and some of its first party games. It's been 4 years, and I still see zero reason to upgrade to a PS5, because the PS4's graphics are MORE than good enough for me (I really will never be able to understand or empathize with graphics junkies ), and there are barely any PS5 exclusive games that I actually care about. So far the only thing that that can persuade me to make the transition is Black Myth: Wukong, when that comes out. Thankfully the PS5 is backwards compatible (none of the PS4 games that don't work on the PS5 are of interest to me, except AC: Syndicate), so since I haven't bought a PS5 yet, I guess I can grab this Pro version later this year, and Wukong with it. Assuming these rumours are even true (I won't hold my breath).

I will never accept this nonsense, and I will never support game companies that start adhering to it. Give me physical copies of my games, or get lost.

Very happy to see a return to Vice City, as that was my favourite game in the series by far, but on the other hand, it's not set in the awesome, rocky 80's this time around, but in the modern era, and the main characters look kinda "meh" as well, so...eh...I dunno. The city also seems packed with people this time around, which is really not my cup of tea...I loved being able to drive around like a madman in Vice City without annoying pedestrians filling every centimeter of it...
