@rolento25: Completely the opposite as far as I'm concerned. GoW3 was decent, but nowhere NEAR as good as 2018.

As far as I'm concerned, the Star Wars story ended with episode 6. Luke saved the galaxy, and him, Leia, and Han are all still alive, the Sith are gone and defeated for good, and all is well. Happy and satisfying ending. THE END. For good.

The Disney sequels all those years later were not only completely unnecessary and should never have happened in the first place, they were also horrible abominations. Not only did they kill off almost every character we ever loved and write a giant mess of a story, they also deconstructed and ruined everything that was established in the prior movies; they ruined Luke's character, Yoda's character, how the force works, everything. On top of that, they continue to litter anything they make with their woke agenda nonsense. And for what? Who on earth would want that kind of garbage? Nobody asked for that. But as usual, the greed for money is all they care about, not the fans.

Disney were great in the 90's and earlier, but now I hate them and everything they do, as they've ruined Star Wars, Marvel, AND their own films (those god awful live action remakes. The new version of Lady and the Tramp is one of the worst insults of a movie I've ever watched). Same with Amazon. I wish as many people as possible would resist the urge, and just say no to anything Star Wars that Disney has touched, so they would be forced to keep their grubby paws off or go bankrupt, but alas, that will never happen I guess...

@mogan: The jedi, the sith, lightsabers and the force, are the only reasons Star Wars has ever been interesting to me. Remove them, and it'll be boring as hell to me. I don't watch it for the laser blasters and space battles.

@Mrpeed: Agree with your second sentence, but not your first; Daisy Ridley wasn't good either.

What happened? From the description it sounds like he seemed healthy and was active, and then died suddenly. Did he have a heart attack or something?

Getting kind of tired of EVERY single action game being chock full of RPG elements these days. Action RPG's are cool and all, and I like them, but am I the only one who wants to play a straight up action game without any RPG elements as well, now and then? I feel like they are becoming increasingly difficult to find...Non RPG action games don't all need to be super fast, high skill games that aren't story focused either, such as Devil May Cry etc. Case in point, the old Soul Reaver games. I really miss games like that...

Now I'm glad I already played the leaked version. The controls in that one work just fine.

@memma364: Your other response to my other post sounded like you were disagreeing with me, but now you're agreeing with me? I'm so confused. :-P Anyway, yeah, the writing is full of major problems. That said, I will say that Galadriel's character at least seems to be pretty darn bad. Whether that is due to writing, her acting, or both, well...I have my thoughts about that, but I'll leave them unspoken here. :-P

@memma364: Not sure what part of my post gives you the impression I'm not aware that LOTR, Silmarillion etc are fictional works, and that Tolkien's universe is made up. Also unsure whether or not you're implying that this changes the validity (it doesn't) of all the examples I gave of how this adaptation has no respect for the source material, and my explanations of why that is problematic. Going to assume that's not what you meant. Anyway, your response makes it sound like my post is only about non-white people in the show, when that couldn't be further from the truth. Either you didn't read it properly, or you didn't understand it. Race is not the main issue. The main issue is the wrong depictions of characters in general, characters who shouldn't exist existing, characters who aren't supposed to appear until several thousand years from now somehow being alive in the story now etc. Plus lots of other problems like the awful production quality when it comes to costumes etc. I brought up and talked about a lot of different things. There are lots of youtube videos about them.
