@doobyboo: Okay, but why is the player character smashing some defenseless old guy's face in like that? :-/

I only came to say: what the heck is up with that thumbnail? What game is that from? That just looks so messed up and disturbing...Waking up and then smashing to death some poor old guy who's trapped in...living flesh? Like, why? Just why? -_-

@professorreject: Lol no. In what world lol? Check the entries for the games on any respectable game site, whether it be on GameFAQ's, Metacritic, or heck, even right here on Gamespot, and you'll see that they are all listed as Action-Adventure (or Action and Adventure) games. Every single one of them, on all of the sites I mentioned plus probably almost all others. Even Breath of the Wild is listed like that.

I know everyone seems to love RPG's to no end and all, but the fact that so many action-adventure games reinvent themselves by turning into semi-RPG's is exactly what bothers me. Whether it's this game, Assassin's Creed Origins, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or whatever. It's not that I don't like RPG's, I do, and I play lots of them, but there are more than enough of those out there these days. And so I just wish that those game series that have always been action-adventure games up until now, would have just staid that way, because I love those games, and they don't take up the same huge amounts of time that RPG's do; time I no longer have in my adult life. Before, I used to have plenty of great action-adventure games to enjoy, like ones from the series I mentioned, plus Prince of Persia (I miss those), the Legacy of Kain games, you name it. These days less and less of these kinds of games come out, while at the same time there's an EXPLOSION of RPG's, including old franchises making a switch to this format, as I've mentioned. It's all just a bit sad to me, personally...

@Mkeegs79: Considering this is published by Bandai Namco, I wouldn't worry about that. I can't remember ever playing a Japanese game published by Bandai Namco in the west that didn't include a Japanese voice track.

Here we go again lol. Ye, sure, blame the videogames instead of facing up to the fact that your widely and easily available guns are a major part of the problem. Or that your news channels are pretty much doing their best to keep the American population constantly nervous and/or afraid.

Hated the endings in 5 Centimeters Per Second and Your Lie in April.

Clannad is amazing, including the first season before After Story. There is very very little in the way of actual romance though, and I was left feeling rather unsatisfied in that particular area. You're waiting for a payoff that never arrives. Tomoya and Nagisa don't kiss on screen a single time over the course of the entirety of both seasons of the show, which is absurd...I can't fathom why KyoAni did that, the couple does kiss in the visual novel, and when KyoAni made the Chuunibyo, Demo Koi ga Shitai! anime for example, the two main characters there kissed multiple times, so it really makes no sense...

KareKano/His and Her Circumstances was good, with funny comedy, and probably more actual lovey-dovey romance than any other show on that list, which was very nice. The fact that the company making the show ran out of money for it well before it was finished though, really kills the latter parts of it. I probably really should read the manga...

Haven't watched the others yet, though they are all on my to-watch list, apart from Yuri on Ice (Ewww, boy's love! Yuck!), but then so are several hundreds of other anime series (that's not an exaggeration btw, my to-watch backlog list literally is that huge. I like most genres of anime, while also having way too little time, so...).

I'm still longing for a romance anime that is really good, while also having satisfying amounts of actual romance and "awww/dawww" inducing lovey-dovey scenes (I'm a guy, but I'm a huge romantic, and a sucker for that stuff. Kissing, gently stroking the girl's hair, patting her head, hugging etc, yes please!), and which keeps up the production values until the end. I don't care if it's a shoujo (made for girls), shounen (made for boys), seinen (made for grownup guys) or josei (made for grownup women) show or what, I just want a show like that please. Hopefully one of the ones on this list that I haven't watched yet will fill my longing, or maybe one of the others on my list...

It's just yet another example of so called "professional" movie reviewers having stupid and shitty opinions, and hating on everything, while the majority of regular people who watched the movie, actually enjoyed it. The majority of the comments in this thread is further proof of that. The movie was entertaining, and was a fresh new concept, the reviewers can go to hell. And yes, like other people mentioned, The Last Jedi was the opposite situation, getting good critical reviews despite being incredibly flawed, and lacking respect for what the first 6 movies had established, and of course, a lot of the people who watched the movie and are longtime Star Wars fans were not impressed as a result, because they noticed these things.

I didn't think Wonder Woman was all that great as far as superhero movies go, but I did get the impression that Diana was a strong female lead character that women could look up to. But I'm a man, so what do I know. After all, according to Jenkins' comment, my gender means I can't emphatise with women. :-/

To Gamespot: You think Ni no Kuni's combat gameplay was "complicated and cumbersome"? You're joking right? Are you serious? :-/ The game had one of the easiest and most accessible combat gameplay styles of any modern JRPG, even a kid could play it with no trouble what so ever (not that that's a bad thing, the game was amazing, and I loved it). There was nothing complicated or cumbersome about it at all. By making such a comment/claim, you're making it sound like you've never played any other JRPG's before. I'm disappointed in you Gamespot. :-/
