Not his work, just his judgement (of a game that was universally derided by everyone except the big corporate review sites)

Well, just bearing in mind that this is the reviewer that thought Total War 2: Rome (one of the worst strategy releases in recent memory) was worth an 8/10. So, it's not as if we can trust his judgement in these matters.

What the hell is this crap?

A luke warm review to be sure. I was really looking forward to this. I had hoped it was going to be a classic. Now all expectation rests on Destiny.

What a stupid comment

A fair review but, having fallen out of love with MMOs over the past few years, I find myself happily playing ESO. There's a lot of issues here but still a lot to enjoy.

The problem with reviews like this is that there is no consistency on the site. If you're going to give the abomination that was Rome 2 an 8, then ESO deserves like a 16 or something.

@Karmazyn Yes, they've got worse.

@Karmazyn If you think the subscription model is bad then you obviously don't care much about the integrity of the games you play. Because this always suffers in a free to play/pay to win model.

But yeah, the Imperial pay wall was a very very shitty move by Zenimax.

My confidence in CA to make a half decent game these days is zero.
