Your opinion is not fact.

Theverydeepend

That's not an opinion, that's a fact. Without Halo, no Xbox 360.

I am sorry but what? A lot of my friends who own the 360 don't own halo? Why are you stating your opinion as facts? I am mean I am sorry that people don't agree with you but what gives you the right to tell them that they are wrong and that your so right? Why is your opinion as a person so better than the rest of the worlds?

I am sure you think Halo is the best FPS series, and I happened to think of it as a really good series, but don't hate me because I don't believe exactly word for word that you do.

I am right now defending the posts you you quote on of other people other than myself. If you are entitled to an opinion so are we, just don't tell us we are wrong because guess what you will never know if we are wrong or not because its based on opinions! I said opinion 100 times because what I am trying to stress.

Don't be such a biased player please, be more open minded and less closed.

But I know you are going to reply to this and say something fanboyish or something siding on halo based on some number, fact, player, opinion, or something. Just before you do please think, and try not to bump your thread so damn much. I am tried of seeing ignorant posts like these.

It's a fact! Get it? Xbox 360 would allegedly never, never exist if Halo wouldn't exist.

You don't realise how stupid it is to say Halo was Xbox's savior do you? It was a launch game, how can a launch game save a console that is in a neutral position...bobbetybob

  Halo rescued Xbox. That's a fact. If Halo wouldn't exist, Xbox wouldn't be flourshing. We would never witness Xbox 360.

The Halo games are undoubtedly the best FPS you can buy on consoles, probably better than most PC shooters also.I still play Halo 3 to this day.Its just plain fun.

PC certainly is a good system to play first-person shooter games on, but what game succeeds in being more excellent than Halo? Half-Life? Unquestionably not, if you ask me. It's a shooter of high quality with a soul, but that's not enough to contend against Halo

[QUOTE="darkslider99"]Although I think HAlo is nothing more than a medicore series, not trulth worthy of the praise it gets, you'd need to be ignorant to deny it's the sole reason XBOX had any success at all, and has helped to make the gaming industry far more popular. And although being mainstream isn't always a good thing...it defintly could help draw more developers to the industry.Leejjohno

Halo popularized the first-person shooter genre and granted it an utterly new, fresh face. Fact!

[QUOTE="-DrRobotnik-"]I love Halo. Definitely my favourite FPS series, i agree with this topic. Halo CE had the best campaign, while Halo 2 had the best online multiplayer. Unfortunately Halo 3 has just fell short in both areas though.pi3m4ster

It's just entertaining.  :)

i honestly fail to see how you can possibly call halo 2 better :|

I meant Halo 3.  :)

i think halo is a good game, but half life beats it in singleplayer, and tf2 beats it in multiplayer, and tf2 actually requires teamwork, a skill that most games nowadays forget to include, oh and cs was released on xbox

cakeisntalie

No, not the first and original Halo
