AoC is obviously the better game. WoW was great at is time, just like Diablo II was great then, but AoC has just taken the MMO genre to the next level. Even though there has been frequently added new content to the game is WoW still basicly the same game as when it came. Blizzard should, when they are done with starcraft 2 and WotL, learn from all the new things in AoC and then start developing World of Warcraft 2 instead of a new expansion pack.

Overclocking it self will not damage your hardware as long as you are able to keep your temperature down and dont give it too much voltage.

67 degree celsius still seems pretty high, and i would recommend that you either get some more fans or clock it down.

You should be able to run Crysis, but it will be on lowest settings. Why would you want a laptop for gaming anyways?

If you can remember when it started acting wierd you could maybe use the system restore to go back to before that. System restore has saved me from having to reinstall windows many times, you just have to use it right as regonize that you got something bad in there.

ok... but what swehunt is saying is not true, the card is not just for gaming. You get both the gaming mode, the entertainment mode (for music and movies especially) and the recording mode for home recording. I havent used mine for recording, so I know how the latency and that kind of stuff is on it, but i know it works great with gaming, music and movies and benefits them all in many ways.

You can get a more expensive card with more stuff for gaming, including 64mb ram, i know someone who has it, he says that he finds great for relieve your main ram from some of the sound content when a lot of stuff is going on. Havent tried that one myself so i am not sure if it is worth the extra money.

I would go with the Intel cpu since it is cheaper and according to this comparison better than the AMD cpu.

I got one of those x-fi sound blaster, and i think it is really good, it's crystalizer and 3d effect adds a lot of depth to the sound, and fits well for both music and games. Also good with headphones. But it is still quite expensive for a soundcard. But is sound as important to you as it is to me, then it is worth it.

Quit your guild. Remove the wow shortcut from your desktop. Start doing something you used to like before you started playing wow, to get your mind on something else. Read book, see a good movie, watch some tv, learn to throatsing, or juggle. Or if nothing of those seems interesting you could try to pick up a less addictive game like a fps. What ever you do, i am sure it wont take long before you have forgotten all about wow and find it silly that ever spend so much time on it.

Everyone says COD4 looks great, but I disagree. It looks so hazy and tinted. It doesn't look real, it looks more like an old film. siddhartha211

I love that movie feeling CoD4's graphics gives. Like taken out of my favorite war movies like saving private ryan and enemies at the gate. Gives a feeling of real war is happening right there infront of you. Not like some other more bright games where everything kinda looks like it has just been placed there.
