-something something man-who-is-a-bat?-
Afternoon, fellow bloggers. As you can see I'm trying out a new font. I don't know, spur of the moment thing.
Anyway, moving along. As always, I won't be watching the Olympics this year. It's not part of a political agenda: I just never watch them. Call me crazy(you probably already do) but I don't find people pushing themselves to the limit, challengening themselves more than any other person on Earth in a desperate hope to secure honor and glory among their fellow men('men' meaning the collective human race, rather than the male gender. I'm not sexist. Don't look at me like that.) Then again, I'm sure an equal amount of people find my rants about how Batman could defeat Superman(it's so obvious!) uninteresting.
Moving right along, I have a few songs I'd like to reccomend. Here they are, in no order:
- "House Party at Arkham Asylum" by The great Luke Ski. I found this while reading about Batman on wikipedia(I want to make an album about Batman...is that strange?) It's hard to beat a song with the lyrics "Tim Burton is here we're excited/Though it may seem two-faced/for reasons of good taste/Joel Scumacher wasn't invited". A quick Youtube search will give you a great video comprised of clips from Batman:The Animated Series.
- "Infecto Groovalistic" by Infectious Grooves. Great, great song with an amazing bassline. Where ever you are(home, work, death row) it makes you want to get up and boogie.
- "Never, Neverland" by Annihilator. A criminally underrated band...Annihilator was one of the best metal acts of the 90's, with speed rivaling Slayer, technicality resembling genius levels, and song writing that's pure poetry.
That's really all for today, see you outside the box.
