Sneakin'

-Wearing my lucky sneaking shoes...sneakers?-

Hello again from the Land of The Zen Man(seriously guys, call me Zen. I really, really do hate the 3 in my name). I've been thinking lately about picking up Metal Gear Solid:The Twin Snakes for Gamecube. I've heard great reviews about it, and I really don't have any other way to play an MGS game(Yes, I know Sons of Liberty came out for Xbox. I've never played the original though.)

I'd also like to get a Splinter Cell game. I've been thinking about either getting Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory. Any tips on which one?

And finally, I picked up Disturbeds new album, Indestructible yesterday. I'm able to happily report that every track on this one is solid, and Distrubed is really picking up their own style on this one. The addition of guitar solos helps a lot. On the first three CD's the beginning half was great while the second was just blah. That's not the case on this one.

That concludes my random talkings for today, continue watching the skies.

Exclusivity hurts. O_O

-Show an Xbox Man some love?-

Metal Gear Solid 4 came out on Thursday(hey, wasn't the world supposed to end then?) and like any gamer, I've been eager to play it. Unfortunately for me, and all other suckers devoid of PS3's, we can't even get the Online version. So, the only enemies I can destroy with Solid Snake is Pit and Sonic. Not that I don't like beating those two within an inch of their life, but still. I'm hoping MGS4 comes to Xbox...one can dream?

Too lazy to post three new issues, here's a random one I whipped up.

40 Points!

Well, That's a Shame.

-The Last Italics?-

Apparently, according to some old, bearded dude(beards aren't always wise...) the world will end on Thursday, June 12th. Wait...it's Wednesday, June 11th! Brace for impact!! The source of this information can be found on the Off-Topic...run! Go!

Also, 3 more episodes of 8-Bit Glory. A shame you didn't get to read the entire series.

Uh oh.

Glark?

A lack of dialogue.

Happenings

-The Happening? Really M. Night?-

Bah. Monday again. But soon it'll be Friday, and that means Friday the 13th. This Friday is special, because if you watch the original Friday the 13th movie(I reccomend Part 6:Jason Lives.) you'll notice they said Jason was born on June 13th, 1958. Making Mr. Voorhees 50 this year.

No, he does not want any cake.

On another note, me and my band Silverback are rehearsing! We've written many songs, and plan to record a few for a demo! We are a crossover thrash band. We'll release a song once we get something recorded. That's all for now.

Also, three more episodes of 8-Bit Glory, for those who are interested.

Elf!

No straws were available.

Copyright infringment is fun.

My Webcomics

-Let me show you them-

It's that time of week again! The time when we celebrate the end of the week and engage in various frivolities for two joyous days!! Weee!

Anyway, I'd like to try an experiment. I've mentioned here before that I make a webcomic, called the New Adventures of the Zen Man and Friends in the Danger Pit. Or, 8-Bit Glory.(For all you lazies.) It has a kind of humor similar to VGcats, so if you like that you might not hate this. I somehwat proudly present the first three episodes of 8-Bit Glory. I have 38 of them made, so I can always post more.

Introverted Introduction Part 1

Introverted Introduction Part 2

The Zen Man and his Assorted Friends

The early ones are rubbish(in my opinion) but I think the humor gets a little more solid later on. Explanatory note:I made an earlier series with the same Zen Man character, only it had a pretty dumb, underdeveloped sense of humor. I won't be posting those.

I Am CrazyFist

-Nifty title, eh?-

Whoo! I passed Level 20 and am now a Rescue Ranger! Me want Cookie!

Also, I've gotten Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection working for Super Smash Bros. Brawl! PM me if you want to play! Only thing I hate about the-scratch that, I don't hate anything about it. It's free. What I dislike is that instead of a real name, they give you a random 12 digit code.(I am not a number! I am a free man!)

That's all for now, continue watching the skies.

Metal Thrashing Madly

-The Face!! The FAACE!!!-

Time to list my top 5 current favorite songs. In no order...

1. Shake Hands with Beef by Primus. This song, like all of Primus's songs, has a crazy bass line. Les Claypool is one amazing bassist. Combine that with strange lyrics and great music on the part of the drummer and guitarist, and you have a catchy song.

2. I'm the Man by Anthrax. Back in the Among The Living era, with Joey Belladona, they're best singer. Similar to the Beastie Boys, this song blends hip hop with metal and punk. That, and it's a riot to listen to. "I'm bad! I so bad I sohuld be in detention!"

3. Liberate by Disturbed. Some say Disturbed is just a nu metal band that repeats themselves on every album. I say, "Liberate your mind, you mother******, you're so narrow minded". Not my words. Theirs. >_>

4. Painkiller by Judas Priest. One of the best speed metal songs, and probably Priest's best. From the crazy shriek to the awesome intro to the doom laden riffs, this entire track is pure gold.

5. Alone in the Dark by Testament. These guys are one of the most underrated thrash bands out there. They deserved to be part of the Big Four of Thrash in the 80's(No. I don't like Slayer. Got a problem with that?) But you have to love this song. "When I was a young child wizards came to claim my mind letting all the darkness unfold..."

Fun Fact: Alone in the Dark is one of three songs I can think of that references a game. The other two are Gears of War by Megadeth and Our Benefactors by Silverback.

Other Fun Fact: Silverback is my band.

New Games

-You expect a great title every blog?!-

Hello again. Good news: after several feverish days of waiting(and some brutally interrogated mailmen) my Amazon purchases have arrived! Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Marvel Ultimate Alliance:Gold Edition. I used to be against the extra characters in MUA being exclusive to 360, but that was before I had a 360. :P No, I don't have Xbox Live. Working on Nintendo Wi-Fi.

Hey kids! Look real close!

Have Fun.

My Name is Mud

-Not to be confused with Bill or Pete or Jack or Dennis-

This is gonna be a quickie.I dress in blue, yes navy blue Happy Friday, first of all. Second, probably gonna

see Indiana Jones or Iron Man this weekend, so yeah. I got screwed out of seeing Iron Man last time, but I really want to check out the new Indy. I'll be sure to tell you guys what happens...probably on this very same page. Also, the title. My Name is Mud is a song by Primus(see right). It's got a great beat, check it out. That's all for now, folks.

Bleh. That guy's creepy.

Ninjas Attack!

-!!!-

I've been thinking:we need more ninja games. Different from Ninja Gaiden(haven't played it but it looks great) I an open world, third person ninja RPG. Here's what I'm thinking...

It would start out in Japan, maybe taking place from 1970's to the 1980's. You would accept missions through various forms of espionage or by being hired. Missions would be accomplished any way you want:by sneaking, frontal assualt, quite diversion, loud diversions, any thing. Finishing a mission succesfully would give you cash:screwing it up might make you an enemy of your employer, depending on how many missions for them you failed before. Missions can't be retried, and there's no instant penalty for failing them. If you need to escort someone and they die, you could redeem yourself by taking out whoever killed them. Upgrading your ninja would be a big part of the game, upgrade your strength to wield heavier weapons or your speed to fight faster. After gaining notoriety in the underworld, you can travel between continents to accept new missions. Online multiplayer with death match, co-op and different missions rounds it out.

Not sure what to call it, but I like this idea. :D

EDIT:New Orange Box Review!
