@Berserk8989: --isnt/wasnt their a demo? --where you were a tiny boy in a 3 dimensional world --where you were kinda small --sorta like a toy story kinda thing --wasnt that the freaking demo for this? --it was so weird
@darthrevenx: --oh i am not saying EVERY series should 'switchout' each season --ha --that would be terrible --it is few series that would benifit from it over all(i think stranger things maybe) --but --i think a good example is --fear the wallking dead --if each season --they just did like 6-10 episodes starting from day one --it really is 'the best part' of the waling dead --the first few weeks-months of the outbreak --switch to china --rural africa --russia --each season --pick a different location(and new characters) --and start from the beginning of the outbreak
--that is not true though --gaming 'itself' changed(from 4th gen-6th gen) --it changed A LOT --and nintendo just didnt change with it --in my memory --it seemed to almost ALL start with mortal kombat's first snes/genesis release --nintendo didnt have blood --sega did --and(it was a HUGE deal to gamers) --it all stimmed from there --i remember --i was there(i was about 12-13) --**** nintendo! --give me the gore give me the blood(give me as much 'realism' and maturity as possible)
--i went on to avoid n64 --and grab the saturn --at that time --there was just no way --to see what playstation was becoming --you see --what sony did with playstation --was give as many developers as possible --free reign --and --that is STILL pretty much the standard to acquire the best games
@PinchySkree: --i am a nintendo collector --i will tell you --if you take the zelda wiiU https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51QdN4zCTEL._SX425_.jpg --and --you take every single quality AAA wiiU exclusive(even the biggest wiiU haters have to put 20 games up) --and put them right there with it --it is something else --and --it is a console/game combo --that will be more and MORE sought after each decade that goes by --because --nitnendo just makes the longest lasting gameplay mechanics
--true --dual thumbstick hardcore gaming is the shit right now --but in 25 years? --no one is gonna be using dual thumbsticks anymore(lord we will probably have our brains inside cyberspace or some shit) --but --nintendo's consoles and their exclusives --will all still 'hold up' just fine --so --go buy a wiiU or 2 --and pick the games up 'here and there' as cheap as you can --and in 25 years --all of it will be worth 10x-100x what you pay today(in 2041's money)
@iandizion713: @deadlyshadow698 --they are even the fathers of the playstation --even though --it is a sadstory --of nintendo abandoning their child on sony's doorstep --and never claiming ANY responsibility --playstation --nintendo's bastard child
@iandizion713: --wii still never 'took off' with mainstream hardcore gamers --MEGA BUTT TONS of sales --but even to this day --not even nintendo knows 'who' was buying that thing(or they woulda chased em all down with wiiU) --a lot of people thought nintendo may have been pulling a stunt or something --cause --yeah wii outsold ps3 and 360 combined for like 5 years straight
--but then --no body seemed to be actually buying the hardcore AAA titles(for wii) --like for example zelda skyward sword --it only sold 4.2 million units --that is almost unheard of --on a console with an 80-110million userbase
--here is a list of the top selling wii games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_Wii_video_games
--looks like they are kicking ass --but almost ALL of those games were at one time bundled with the wii --all the way down that list until if i am right --animal crossing:city folk --meaning that most individual hardcore titles(games that werent bundled with wii ever) --only ever sold 4 million-ish and under
