@sirchick: --but it does seem pretty obvious they waited until right before launch --thats a real gut punch to NMS --there is NO WAY they can 'NOT release' the game haha --it has already been delayed once --probably a few hundred people gonna be getting checks based on it's sales numbers --all that work --all that hope --all those dreams --the game HAS TO come out(they are forcing their hand IOW)
@darksouls: --what makes it creepy --is --how many of them there are --at least(in my area) --i was in the city park saturday --youd think there was some kinda pogo festival(yeah i need to copyright "pogo" ha) --it was id guess 60-80% of the people in the park were playing --even in the city on the streets --everywhere man --walking in and out of stores and parking lots --the walking dead(or something~but very zombie-ish)
--i guess they waited till the last minute --figuring the developer and publisher sorta 'had to pay up' a decent sum --else --seems they(the suers) may would want to wait until the game actually made some turnover --you know --so the NMS guys would have some bank(vs all the debt they are probably floating on at the moment)
@darksouls: --yes --from what I can see --pogo has changed social human behavioral patterns --more than anything ever has(in such a short time) --creating like a whole new breed of people(almost) --they literally look all the same(walking around 'doing things' and all 'acting' exactly the same) --and you can spot a pogo user in like 3 secs --REALLY MASSIVE social phenomenon --and it just getting started
@darksouls: --but the stories are better --i find 'most' of the pokemon articles interesting --because they arent your regular gaming stories --like "destiny has dlc~want a new armor blahblah" --all the gaming site news was always the same --then p-go comes out --and it is like --a super hero came to earth --and started kicking people in the nuts(no one notices~keep playing Pgo) --or --a god came back --and now water is blood --or --P-Go starts melting smartphones to peoples faces~players seem not to care --the news is just so eccentric
--im pretty cheap --i just(like yesterday) got vanilla mortal kombat for 13.75$ --sigh --if i like it enough --i can get the full XL DLC for 25$(or maybe a sale deal on it) --i just cant get into the way they 'piece the games together' these days --leaves me with no choice but to wait on the price drops on the 'filled out' games
