@Double-Ego You have no idea what I prefer. Maybe I like to play my games on the Atari 2600 over anything else. Stop making stupid assumptions.

You are by definition sharing your personal perspective, feelings, and beliefs in these comments. The fact that you feel somewhat neutral about things doesn't change the fact that by definition you are engaging in a subjective act.

Anyways, I'm merely stating facts that Digital Foundry exposed: At this point in time, you cannot do on a PS4 what you can do on a 680. If you want to construe that as dismissive, then go right ahead.

@Double-Ego @The_Beanster By what standard are you objective? I don't think you understand what objective means, or you would know that you are not objective.

You are by definition subjective.

Anyways, Carmack is a hack and it's already been shown that right now you can't do on a PS4, with UE4, what you can do on a 680.

@Double-Ego Your speculation based on Carmack's speculation is hardly a "fact"

It's not "dismissing" the PS4 to point out that it's not even as powerful as a modern high end PC.

And lol @ you thinking you are "objective"... that's a good one.

@Double-Ego And all I've seen you do is make up uninformed/speculative crap propounding how awesome console graphics are.

@Double-Ego It doesn't take a genius to figure out why. And it's pretty clear that the UE4 running on PS4 was dumbed down from what ran on a 680 on PC.

If you want to make excuses for that, it's up to you.

@reincarnator07 The number of games that run fine on an 8800 GT is also > the number of games that don't, but what's your point?

@Double-Ego Carmack is a joke who hasn't been relevant for 15 years in the gaming world.

@Double-Ego Except they've already had to scale down UE4 from what it was doing on a 680 to accomodate the PS4, so yeah... nope

Not right now anyways.

@reincarnator07 That was true a year or two ago. Not true anymore. It is now rare for a new game to not utilize 4 cores.

@tomservo51 too bad they've already had to scale down UE4 to meet the needs of mediocre console hardware in the PS4/etc...
