@-TheFlyer- Bioshock is an aesthetically great looking game, but we are not talking about aesthetics. We're talking technical graphics, and neither Bioshock is impressive technically except by like 2006 standards.
Anyways, nobody is talking about aesthetics, and if you knew how to read, you would have seen below that I already posted about that.
What I'm talking about is that all Yerli is saying is that better graphics raise the ceiling for what can be accomplished in game immersion, which enables potentially better games. This is true, and all gamers implicitly know this - you need look no further than the reaction to tech demos etc for proof.
The only thing that was dumb was his 60% figure, and again if you knew how to read you would have seen that I addressed that below as well. His point is valid and nearly everyone agrees with it by their actions, even if their comments on this article say otherwise.
@StickyJr1 @The_Beanster But why does it "Wow!"? It does so because people envision playing games with more realistic, impressive graphics. They instinctively know that the better graphics can enable better gameplay experiences, which is all Yerli is pointing out.
