@BuBsay It IS what is being said in the article, and that's what people are missing.
People are getting their panties all in a bunch about this 60% figure, when all Yerli is saying is that graphics are what make games possible, and as graphics improve, the things you can do in games improve.
@MalakTawus It's sad to see that people don't realize that they're conceptually in agreement with Yerli even though they wouldn't break down games by the same %
@faceless-mask I'm sorry that you don't realize how hypocritical you are. You cannot simultaneously get nerd boners about GDDR5 RAM and also put up a facade of how graphics are this minor part of games.
@MalakTawus As stupid as "your" instead of "you're"?
Anyways, all Yerli is saying here is that graphics enable every part of a game, so better graphics enable better games. They don't by themselves MAKE a better game, but they enable it.
If you get excited about advances in graphics, you have already confirmed this.
@BuBsay That's not really related to the argument that graphics enable everything else in the game, though. And if those good writers etc also had the photorealistic characters, then the character would be even better than as a stick.
@faceless-mask @The_Beanster But if you get excited for progressively improving graphics (as I do and as I think you should), you are basically confirming what Yerli is saying here even if you don't like the % breakdown..
