dude... what are you smoking, HD DVD is winning. Its out selling standalone bluray units.. bluray is leading software due to the flood of PS3s that are pretty much useless for anything but playing bluray movies. Next year toshiba is forecasted to sell 2x as many HD DVD read notebooks then PS3s sold this year... you do the math, if standalone sales are already up... and 10 million additional HD DVD players flood the market, guess who will be far ahead?

Blu-Ray is winning this year and it will only continue to win more because the PS3's aren't going to stop selling all of sudden. We have not even see strong PS3 sales because the amazing PS3 titles have not even hit the shelves yet, so guess fanboy? next year the Blu-Ray sales are going to even double or tripple. HD DVD is not winning right now and future isn't too promising for it, but that's just the way I see it.

it comes out in 2 months time exactly!! come on, do you really want to go ahead and loose a ton of money on your PS3, then get a system that will crash on you for sure?? would you rather wait 2 months for a game or have your system sent to be fixed and wait for it at least 3-4 weeks to come back. The game will come in 2 months, so calm down.

Those predictions are a bit over the top... A year away with the heavy hitter coming out in a few months... It is really hard to tell what will happen. What if the heavy hittergames flop... or anyway... it is a wait and see game. As for hearing the ps3 is a "bad" system. It is just not true. The only bad system with hardware issue that can cripple a gamer's weekend is the 360.The ps3 is a solid piece of engineering. With the upcoming 40GB, that really helps the price... Now it is just waiting for more games. There is2 in ps3 first year that is worth playing resistance andwarhawk. I think jericho would be great and is a multiplat for everyone to enjoy. Don't know about the rest cause some genre don't interest me.

you tell me, how could GT5 flop? if you have played the GT HD demo, you would know that the game looks and plays amazing. This is a system seller game that you know is not going to flop. combine that with the Logitech G25 and you got something racing fans like me woud pay 1000dollars for, lol
