On Monday I turned in an essay about the theme of a movie we saw in class. I got it back today; not only was I the only person in the class to get an A on the paper, but my teacher was so impressed that she wants a copy of it to use as an example paper in future classes!

I absolutely LOVE the ending! It was so cool! I never thought for a second that they were dead--and the last scene! It's so amazing and sad and happy and cool and ironic and *head explodes*
I am effin EXHAUSTED. I had to read--and write a paragraph-by-paragraph summary of--Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics (which is awesome and all, but GOD), then I had to wash a car (did I mention it's ninety degrees outside and the air conditioner is broken?), then I had to go and pick up some food that I don't really like, and I STILL have to write an essay and go down to my grandparents' to help them with some housework--all before Monday.
Once there was a woman named Labellierannastia, who was married to Bob. Bob, being a typical man, was cruel and vicious to Labellierannastia, raping her daily and slapping her every other week. This made Labellierannastia sad. So one day Labellierannastia went up to her room where she waited for Bob's male injustice to impose its will upon her, and she aimed a firearm at his temple, but when she fired, the gun exploded, killing her instantly. The end.

Jesus, this movie was depressing. Very, very good, but depressing. Robin Williams was amazing in it, as was Robert Sean Leonard (the guy who plays Wilson in House).
For all those poor women who put up with us as children.
