WAOH! hold on, back the **** up. i only see one crossfire bridge

WTH! theres only one. i dont think this is a good move

Why would you go for tri-CF or more on a mid range card? You'd get better performance (and probably better price) by going with 2 card CF with high end cards.

well the 6870 IS going to be thier new mid range high roller card while the 6850 based on roughly the same everything will be replacing the 5830.. last time i check the 5830 only works in 2 card cfx not 3 or 4

I read that the 6870 was the replacement for the 5770 while the 6970/6950 would be the replacement for the 5870/5850 respectively. Or am I wrong? :)

hey cayman xt.. smile for the camera!!!

The 6800 series are the 'Barts' cores, the 'Caymans' are the 6900 series i believe. But nice to see a vendor card picture will be picking either a 6800 or 6900 series card up very soon.

[QUOTE="Timbury"]Yep just slot everything in turn it on install Windows and any drivers you got. Make sure to download up to date GPU drivers when your up and running. Takes a 8pin CPU connector on that board. emperorzhang66
Thanks man :) Your awesome. So at least i know the corsair psu is good now :) between that and the coolermaster :)

Your welcome mate you will end up with a great gaming PC. Would take the Corsair or XFX over the Coolermaster PSU.

[QUOTE="Timbury"]I've got almost eactly the same specs as what your planning on getting minus the GPU's as im waiting on the 6k Radeons. I built this about two weeks ago went with XFX 750W Black Edidtion as the closest Corsair in price wasnt modular. That will be more the enough to run dual GPU's aslong as i dont go to crazy :)emperorzhang66

I love you :) Thanks for the info, so i'll get the 850w xfx then (incase future GPU's are power hungry) :) Been hoping someone here has this set up, what case would you recommend, i'm gonna go for the haf 932 amd edition but i'm already over budget (£1300 is my total with everything :P), recommend a good case?

Also since you have the set up. Do i need to update the bio's on the crosshair? or can i just assemble start up and install win 7?

Haven't built a pc in ages so the new stuff is well....

new :)

edit: How much was your build ?

Carried my case over from previous build. It's a CoolerMaster CM690 such a great case awesome cooling with the extra fan slots filled and will swallow any GPU. But the HAF's are great cases. Shouldn't have to upgrade bios just dropped the 1090T in there :) Edit* Carried over components from previous so saved some money that way. Motherboard, Processor, RAM, Cooler and PSU all came to £610.

[QUOTE="dreDREb13"][QUOTE="emperorzhang66"][QUOTE="Timbury"] Just got that CPU and Motherboard myself two weeks ago :) With a decent cooler it's so easy to get a high stable and cool overclock. I love it :)

Sweet :) i've been racking over whether to get the i7 or phenom but in the end the phenom will be better for me :) gpu? was planning on getting a 5850 :) then crossfire later if i need it.

So... many... SMILIES. As for the GPU, I've been in the same predicament, but others have told me to just wait for the 6xxx series, see what that has to offer, and then buy.

Thats what im doing waiting for the 6k Radeon series just carried the GTX260 216 over from my previous rig.
