I wholeheartedly disagree, Inafune. The Eastern games have a unique style to them Western developers simply do not understand, and you need not copy the west.
In general, the western development has a disgusting mentality of "if it's not what we are used to it's wierd and bad" -- alienating any new concepts. I'm not saying *** gamnig industry is right now at the peak of it's innovation, no, but it's distinct style is what makes people attracted to it.
Personally, I find it enjoyable how "shameless" it is. Do you think that Tokyo Jungle Battle game would've been accepted in the west? One word: PETA.
Do you think games like Killer is Dead and Sacrifice would be accepted at the west? Four words: Video Game Violence controviersies.
Do you think your JRPGs and games like Bayonetta would be developed in the west? One word: Feminazis.
The power of *** games lies in their complete lack of shame, something the often close-minded western market, who's too used to generic dramas, guns and explosions, simply isn't capable of doing.

@The_FinalDOT Don't know what about you, I never heard the mumbling. He did some grumbling though, but that was on purpose. I think his best performance was Metal Gear Solid 1, he gave Snake a very strong, clear, and dominant voice, made him compelling.
I didn't like his work on PW as much, But I still think he is a great VA because of that special tone he has to his voice, I have seen many imitations, but none of them are really as good as the source.

Hey man, do whatever you want, I'm just saying, alot of Nexus mods out there that are great aren't seeing attention, though I guess you can't have them all. You should definately consider SkyRe, though, it's a complete overhaul mod, and by far the most popular mod out there right next to SkyUI, that makes Skyrim the true RPG experience it was meant to be.
@HSV002 @matty_6666 You should, it's currently the only game franchise that truly caters to adults (Sorry BioWare, you lost your flair, LGBT propaganda, big colourful explosions, and overly dramatic and cliche archetypes are not the way to cater to adults).
I whole heartedly agree, and I think Take Two is one of the few decent publishers out there.
They recognize the market value GTA holds and know better than to classify it amongst the unsavoury rabble of games like CoD, BF, and AC, which, although they are great games in their own ways, simply don't have that strong flair a GTA game has, they merely mimic it as best as they can.
Think about, almsot every mainline GTA game released since GTA3 has set a new standard for other games to follow, not necessarily even just in the Open World games genre.
GTA is just one of those franchises that tower above, it's the Mario of the 2000's.
