Are you even in 2012?? No, they don't. They read faster, but the quality and amount you can shove into a BD is much better due to it's size capacity. You can watch whole seasons and movie quad/trilogies on these discs.
And wow, you actually buy movies. Who the f**k does that. Go to the theatre if you want to pay for a movie. OR buy a collection if you're too lazy to download them all. Buying one movie, of which you don't even really own, you just "Rent", is lame beyond count.
@larkin-54 The online isn't more robust, it's just that you need the Plus to get everything.
360 and PC only is a horrible decision. You get, what, 3 franchises worth playing? (Gears, Forza, HALO) ??
That is nothing compared to what PS3 has it's loadout.
I'll give you the whole home theatre thing, But I never really watcch on my PS3 anyway. But think of it like this-- By chance, you saw an awesome collection of all X seasons of your favourite show/ movie xxxlogy, all in 1080p top notch quality.
Problem is, They don't sell those in DVD for obvious reasons. Your PC might not read Blu-Ray either. OH, would you look at that, the PS3 does.
