@ZJohnnyZ How about you read The Walking Dead before quoting without context ? People kill eachother all the time in zombie apocalypses, and that they were able to put this aspect into the game is amazing. You gotta make a choice berween teaming up and risking to get shot in the back, or to go lone wolf. This isn't Call of Duty - thank god for that - and the mod has its flaws and the limitations of the game engine, but that's why they're doing a standalone. If you prefer WoW and CoD then good for you, but don't expect DayZ to go from an indie, innovative game to a generic, boring shooter.
@SeaFireConcept @neogeta8 Yes, people kill people, but only in the U.S. can you predict yearly mass shootings. Mass shootings happen in other developed countries, but it's rare. In the U.S. it's a tradition. A mad man with a knife will kill one or two people, a mad man with assault rifles and a shooting range ... Well we all know the rest of that story.
@Gazdakka Guns are only part of the problem. Although I agree with you as far as firearms and the Constitution go, it's the United States population that is, at its core, more violent. It has more murders committed with or without firearms than any other developed country, and also the only country who hasn't seen a significant decrease in murders in the past century. Gun regulation laws would help and avoid this kind of shooting, but it's only the first step. I doubt it will be taken though, because a lot of citizens believe that freedom = firearms.
@alrepairs Until I see something the Wii U can do with that supposed GPU that the other consoles can't, I stand my point that it's another stupid nintendo move.
@TohouAsura @DeroxKING I'm talking about God of War, the franchise that revels in gory kills and bloodshed and made a game about the vengeance of a spartan warrior against the God that sent him on a path of rage and destruction in which he killed the family he loved. It`s an aspect of greek mythology never explored in movies: have you seen the Heracles version that gets cursed and butchers his wife on the big screen ? I haven't. If they make it as dumb as the Saw movies, the God of War will be a Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance set in greece and it's gonna suck balls.
@ExtremePhobia Except the era I don`t really see the resemblance between God of War and 300. A God of War movie has the potential to be pretty awesome...odds are it won't be, though. Because it's a game-to-movie and the movies these two did suck.
@cursealoud @edgewalker16 The fact the movies we know them from are terrible is what concerns us. The Saw movies they were responsible for were a silly shadow of what the series was before that: it was about as relevant as Piranha 3D. I've seen better from B movies and straight to DvDs. Saw 1 2 and 3 were good, the Saw movies these two wrote were a load of crap.
