@advancedcaveman And for others the golden age ended a decade ago, or two and sometimes even three decades ago. This happens to all gamers as they get older. It's because you've seen it all, nothing is new or exciting, or at least it's a rare treat to feel like you did when you first played games. Luckily, it's not the end of the industry, there will always be a market for hard core gamers.
Really? More people play free games than any of segment? I wonder why? Could it be that free games are good for a few minutes of distraction, and that they are free....?

@pip3dream Currently I am playing two games that have had public releases and one that is in Beta. But those were all relatively minor campaigns. Wasteland 2 is due out in October, that will be the first massive one released that I know of.
