This just in, Zelnick realizes the importance of zombies to millennials about ten years after everyone else.

Give me a break. That is like saying you must have multiple protagonists in a movie, or you HAVE to write your novel from multiple perspectives like The Wheel of Time or ASoIaF. There is no best way to present a story, and that is all they are doing here, presenting a story from three different perspectives. It isn't a new concept. Hell, it's not even new to gaming. How they pull it off might be innovative (being able to switch on the fly at any time and take over in whatever situation that character happens to be in) but that certainly doesn't mean all games need to follow their lead to be successful.

Really? 5% of gamers play past gen titles on one system that barely supports backwards compatibility and another system that doesn't have it all together? I wonder why more people aren't playing past gen games on current gen consoles that don't support them.....

@TheGamerPhenom @Tseng He might be right, but he is stating the blatantly obvious. We know this, the devs know this, and most importantly Sony and Microsoft know this. New consoles only come around once every decade, give or take...of course they need to deliver. The point was, why is this news?

I hate this mentality. He even admits that the industry is growing up, it's not like every violent video game made now a days is Postal or Duke Nukem. There can be violence in games AND compelling story telling.

@DeViLzzz Except the economy is on an upswing and has been for a while. If you think that the Wii U being a terrible system/having no games had a smaller impact on sales than the economy, you are incorrect.

Nothing against him personally, but this is the equivalent of politicians saying "This is the most important election of your life" before every single election. We know, and you are making too much of it.

@thefinalzapkeet Yea, but the 3DS had a moderately successful launch. They aren't comparable. Nintendo has about a year to turn it around before it is totally swamped by competition (PS4, Durango, Ouya). And if you read the article(s), EA currently has NO games in development for the Wii U.

I love your games Sid, but you aren't exactly on the front lines anymore. You can basically write your own ticket (and it's not like you've really been pushing the boundaries lately). Smaller, less well known dev teams have few options, kickstarter sometimes being the only one.
