@Maxd76 @Keithy211 @Tseng Not that there is anything wrong with that, but again, just official confirmation, where they are in development and the setting would be enough to sate most of our thirsts for info.

FO 3 came out five years ago, New Vegas came out three years ago (which was developed by Obsidian)...you 'moved off' Fallout ages back, why is it 'unrealistic' for fans to expect at least an official announcement and some early info?

Lets be clear, it's not that they had a change of heart, or even that we changed their minds with all our legitimate complaints. It's because pre-orders tanked, and they wants their moneys.

Probably too late. it's not like a ton of people are going to cancel their PS4 pre-orders to get an Xbox one. And screw you M$, you didn't see the backlash coming, you thought it was no big deal, and then suddenly pre-orders tank and it's time to circle the wagons. It's all about the bottom line, not what's best for the consumer.

@EvanescentCrow You underestimate and overestimate consumers in your blog at the same time. The mom/kid scenario won't really be viable until a price drop. Most families can't afford/won't want to spend $500 for casual gaming. Where M$ will see a hit is in the first year, and especially the first month of sales, when hard core gamers turn away from their system in favor of the PS4. That being said, is this the end of M$ gaming? Yes, in the same way that the PS3 launch was the end of Sony (that's just a fancy way of saying 'no'.)

@MERGATROYDER @Tseng Firstly, I'm a guy, so I can't be a tart. Secondly, just because they release it every month doesn't mean it is interesting (and if you had any sort of reading comprehension, you would have realized that was kind of my point). NDP collects the data, but M$ released the numbers.

"Microsoft sold 114,000 Xbox 360 units in May in the United States, the company announced today, citing data from the NPD Group."

This quote backs up my original post, and the fact that they talk about it every month makes my comment even more relevant in the 'who gives a crap' department. Now who looks like a 'daft tart'?
