So the PS4 just got announced and I couldn't be more thrilled but there is still something I don't understand.  Why is it that every video that is related to the ps4, there are people commenting on how PC will always remain the best and that the ps4 graphics will never match the pc graphics running at full level and blah blah blah and all this other junk?  People, we all know PC graphics will be the best.  You don't need to remind us!  We're gamers, we know that stuff.  Us playstation fans/gamers are excited because a new console has been announced, okay?  Don't get all butt hurt cause people are getting excited over a new console.  We gamers like to see new consoles and gameplay from that console.  That's all.

Can't believe a single person didn't pick up on this.

There was a subtle statement made on the press conference, something along the lines of '...its a supercharged PC', in the context of the PS4 having an X86 arc..... your now in PC territory, hence all the craziness with PC gamers stomping about the graphical potential.

This has been bugging me for weeks now......

Honestly - who in your WEB DEPARTMENT actually implemented this feature to automatically send the user to another video without their consent?????

Whoever actioned the change has absoltuley no idea about user experience.

Think about it gamespot.... I click on a 'VIDEO REVIEW... I watch the review in full, I then scroll down to view the comments WHOOOOPS, now I am being forwarded to another video that is irrelevant????

So now I have to press the back button and then pause the video.... its totally ridduclous, honestly, allow us to TURN IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then your internet goes down and you can't play.. failthetruespin
That's exactly what everyone seems to forget... ones your internet is down, no games for you! Even if your ISP has major congestion one day, it will still ruin the experience.

Atm, there aren't many games as actively played as IW's MW2. But it's just some months old. I wonder what do you guys think about this game's possible staying power? Halo 2 was released 04, and in September 07 it still had 300k unique players every day on LIVE (http://www.businessweek.com/innovate/content/sep2007/id20070924_587060_page_2.htm), Halo 3 was released 07, and 2 years later in 2009, it had 1 million daily gamers signing in to battle each other (http://www.videogamer.com/news/halo_3_logs_1_million_unique_players_each_day.html). And it has at least ~600k daily now, obviously CoD: MW2 being number 1 for the moment. Obviously, MW2 is a huge success. It sold 1 million after a day, But what do you think for its future, do you think people will get bored of this eventually or will it post numbers in the million years after launch like Halo?JuiceBerry

I would keep a very close eye on BFBC2 in March - it really has the potential to become the ultimate multiplayer (maybe until halo:reach?)...

As a hardcore fan of Halo2 multiplayer no game apart from BFBC2 has given me that same satisfaction working in a team to complete an objective. COD has nice mechanics but I was bitterly dissapointed to see that they haven't included vehicles, how can you have epic battles without vehicles!

BFBC2 FTW

I don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee just to use the service.

I'd rather they had a free model where I had to put up with occassional adverts or something.

There's just too many different services these days all asking for a monthly fee and it's adds up to me potentially spending way too much money to be blunt.

Here is why I think it isn't soo great:

When the internet is slow, laggy or completely dead...

Xbox 360 / PS3 = Play single player games

OnLive = { Totally Screwed [Black Screen] }

I'm impressed at how well Polyphony has turned Gran Turismo into the Duke Nukem of driving sims.DJ_Lae
Double Irony, in that DNF will also suit this game.

had mine for about 2 months now.

Best keyboard I owned, and I aint no noob either - I've had good keyboards before but this beast just rules.

The macro keys are a great addition, it has good tactile response and the LCD is full of WIN.

I love how there is a community devoted to the logitech G15 range - for example I recently downloade the spotify plugin which displays all song data on the LCD.

All in all it really is a great keyboard - I've owned many logitech products and never had a problem. As a extra plus their customer service is great, I once broke my Logitech wireless mouse dongle, I contact support about paying for a replacement - they sent it to me free in 3 days... so if something did go wrong with the keyboard I am pretty sure logitech would help out.

PS. you gotta be careful where you read these reviews, one site called the 'GAME' slider button on the keyboard lame - this button once activated will block the WINDOWS key, which means no more accidently minimizing the game to the task bar, a great addition - now tell me, HOW the hell is that lame!

The hardware in these consoles is like 5 years old. The games look average by today's standards. You already live with most of your games running with framerate and AA problems, and most are not even 720P. How much better do you think things are actually going to get? You can only squeeze so much out of this basic hardware. Console users are dreaming if they think somehow someone is going to magically "untap" hidden amounts of power from these things.

Ther only thing you're going to see that really untapped on these little things is motion control add-ons. They can't give you much more, so now they're going to give you a new way to play.

You are pretty much spot on.... I am a programmer (not games, but web) and essentially you can only push hardware to a certain limit. This of course in conjuction with clean and efficient coding.

These games studio use only the best programmers which should produce clean and efficient code, meaning that the games they produce should be at their best.

Its pure bull when most of them say "we found out how to get more power", no you found out what to drop so that you can increase the power available to you.

Case in point, anyone remember in Forza 2 how when you go off the track you get dirt trails, heck even the car body used to get dirty... Where is that in Forza 3 ??? why is it when the car goes off the track there is no longer any dirt effect? .... because its been cut out to save peformance so that the cars can be rendered at higher quality....

Now sure, you could say "well I prefer to have ultra realistic cars if I have to sacrifice details such as dirt trails", but that isn't the point, the point is they took it out to free up processing power.

These consoles are not some magic box waiting to be untapped....well maybe the PS3 is lol and I'm only saying that because of how poor the documentation and SDK is for it according to most devs.

I believe this statement to be true because its just like the Metal Gear Series, It will never be on the xbox because only the ps3 can handle it...

oh wait........ {thinks of MGS: Raiden}

It must feel really good when a company pays you a load of money to make up bullcrap statements.

now that mgs rising is coming to 360, why isnt 4 coming to over?

is there a exclusve deal w/ sony on this? is it a timed exclusive? is it an exclusive forever?

to what ive read, konami is 3rd party and does not owned by sony. now taht mgs4 sales have quieted off, perhaps they hsould think about porting over mgs4 over. i thought mgs is loyal to sony, but rising is coming, so perhaps why not 4.

please fill me in on the details. thank you :)
