PS3 has the same power as 360 but is harder to develop for. Most third party developers dont have that extra time to make the game looks as good on both consoles.

then I don't understand why Sony would make a console harder to develop for. Really, I see many devs complaining about it, I don't think they're all crazy, are they?
Its not soo much that Sony 'made' it harder, its more like Microsoft knows how to make the best programming tools, just look at Visual Studio, they make development soo much more easier which means less time spent, less money wasted.
I've always said this.....Sony is excellent when it comes to hardware, its what they know best but they suck at software.... Microsoft is completely the opposite, bad hardware, great software.
Anti Troll: I own both consoles, playing MGS4 on the PS3 was enough for me to realise just how good the ps3 is despite the crappy ports.
Instead of making a super-arcadey sandbox game, they turned it into a hyper-realistic crime drama.foxhound_fox
THIS. Great graphics, good story, good characters....but were you actually having 'fun'.... I found it very serious and too realistic instead of fun..... San andreas is still the best to me, and hell yes MGS4 was a 10.
I think you're partially right....it wasn't the fans they had to listen to, it was Microsoft! ..... they made bungie make the games appeal to a much wider audience, unfortunately this meant dumbing down the game significantly, I mean just look at the difference, Halo CE is dark, the rest are totally different although I must say I really like Halo 2 also..... Halo 3 is a complete joke in my opinion, totally generic, no real feeling of epicness... However, since Bungie is once again independent I see good things for Halo ODST, especially since IGN reported that the ODST game is dark and similar to Halo CE.Its because Bungie did whatever the hell they wanted.
With halo 2/3, they tried to make their games based on what the fans said they wanted. big mistake. Although it can be helpful, listening to fans is usually a bad thing.

racer of this generation we deliver more, much more........ flip overrs yeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh nyctotaI totally hate the way Forza 3 is going to have flip overs, its like sooo un-realistic, they should really copy Grand Turismo so that when I smash into a car at 100mph the car just bumps of slightly, cos its like so much more realistic.....que Mercs 2 "weeeeeeee bumper cars"... /sarcasam Carry on slating Forza 3 if you want, even whilst we are playing the third itteration of Turn 10's amazing sim.....have fun waiting for GT5, again, again, again...soon sooon sooon its coming guyzzzz....next year at E3 GT5 advertised again with no release date shown....trust me.
While I do see Natal working for some specific games, I see no possibility for it work at a deep control level with any game that required a 3D plane of movement : there is a limit to how much you can move within the provided camera space, and having movements outside of the camera's 2D plane seems impossible to achieve without resorting to some controller that allows you to interact within the 3D landscape. And Natal is being advertised as a product technology that requires no controller outside of your own body.Brainhunter
This.
Thats not to say the next major games like Halo:Reach, Gears 3 etc won't touch the technology, I think they will include it but as an option for short game sequences... the controller will still be primary for these titles.
Natal just offers Microsoft a path to join the Wii's marketshare with similar games. There is nothing wrong with using a controller for most games so I can't see it being a full on replacement..... its to attract pure casual markets.
they steal every good game that comes out and make it only 4 360 and PC (ps they own PC) and do this constantly in an attempt to bleed ps3 dry and make itself the sole next gen platform

Welcome to the world of business.... blame Sony instead of Mircosoft for not bothering to secure games...
I just made this descision 20 minutes ago haha! - I bought InFamous for the PS3 simply because I loved the demo that I played last night...
Prototype is on my list too but I'll save it for the xbox 360.
[QUOTE="VitunLehmat"]Forza 3 wowed the crow with actual gameplay footage you can't top that.GreyFoXX4You know I can't find any gameplay screens from any site for Forza 3. Everything every site has is the replay editor screens.
Forza Motorsport 3 Hands-On
So quit with this crap that we are going goo goo over pre rendered crap, cause I can load up gt5p right now to get a taste of what is to come geez. And yes gt5p is photo realistic, and FM3 isn't, also fm3 looks off or the cars aren't as detailed or something. GreyFoXX4
*Round of applause please, great justification right there, yes 'SOMETHING' must be inferior about Forza because it isn't Gran Turismo.
And don't show me screens from the photo editor either lol.
GreyFoXX4
So you don't want to see the proof? I guess the truth hurts right?
Oh yea most of this thread yall guys keep screaming about replay editor and car modding, I mean aren't yall excited to race the dang cars in fm3? Or are yall more excited to play dress up?
GreyFoXX4
Yeah its great to just race the cars but after while the cars can become boring - why would we all want the same looking cars as each other.... when we can have an original design, somthing personal, something unique...its one of the many reasons why Forza 2 still has its replay value today thanks to the auction house...
GT5 will be a good game, but you honestly have to be blindsighted to dismiss Forza 3 - they actually gave you a release date? What did GT5 do? .... another trailer....no release date? ..... Bottom line is - you already know this. Enjoy GT5......2015 ftw?
