Then how do you explain that whites are more likely to get skin and testicle cancer? Or cystic fibrosis?
I knew race was a really touchy subject in the US more than other places but this is bordering on the insanity. You cannot deny that different races have different genetic makeups and, subsequently, higher risk than others for certain diseases. That's simply not true and you're denying a FACT just because race is involved. That's an approach that health professionals quite simply cannot follow or they would be putting lives on the line for stupid reasons.
You can deny it all you want you won't change a thing. Sorry.

WTF? You expect me to accept your way of thinking when you doing even have evidence or examples? Your explanations are fallacious. You consider it "fact" because you refuse totake into accountat the other causes. You cannot force me or anyone to just believe your ignorant statments. Next thing you'll be claiming is that some races are inherently more intelligent than others because of genetics.
Ultimas, take a step back for a second. This has nothing to do with racism or general health.Read the page I linked on cystic fibrosis - it not only lays out rates of occurrence, but the genetic cause of the disorder:
CF is caused by a mutation in the gene for the protein cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR). This gene is required to regulate the components of sweat, digestive juices, and mucus. Although most people without CF have two working copies of the CFTR gene, only one is needed to prevent cystic fibrosis. CF develops when neither gene works normally and therefore has autosomal recessive inheritance.
CF is most common among Caucasians; one in 25 people of European descent carry one allele for CF.
Yes yes I understand what you are saying matt but I had already said previously Agree to Disagree because there were many situations in which either side could cite certain diseases and say they were right. I believe the CF argument is credible but not the whole argument. As I said earlier, agree to disagree.
