Noticed I highlighted game developer, because this isn't a list of greatest publisher, or internet portal manager, store, or anything else....just game DEVELOPER.

I don't disagree that the N64 had some really good games...great ones in fact.

But the problems was, for the N64, the great AAA scoring ones were far and few in between.

That's why the N64 was overall inferior to the PS1 which seemed to have a great game launched every month almost.

According to Gamerankings....N64 had 12 AAA scored games.

PS1 had 44.

PS1 started first, and it ended last.

N64 had some nice games...Heck, I still have it hooked up...but for the 5th generation, PS1 spit on the N64 and beat up on it just for fun.

PS3 slaughtered the N64 that gen, and it wasn't even close.....not even moderately close.

this is true, the difference in overall install base can greatly affect the software attach rate, the wii in 2009 had the lowest attach rate but had far higher software sles han the other two, that being said the 360 is ahead of the Ps3 in total software sales, i don't know exactly ny how much, but somebody on this topic said it was by about 160+ million units, but the Ps3 could be slowly catching up in that area as well, we just don't know,loldelta3074

Well according to the graph...it's about 63 million units...of course, the current fiscal year is almost 75% done....so its probably in the 50 something million mark by now.

Shouldnt that logic also apply to 360 exclusives? If MS had better first parties making engines just for 360, exclusives would look better.

Sorry but my point still stands....people here seem to think PS3 is superior and base their opinion only in what they want to believe.

MW1 and 2, FF13, GTA4, RE5....None of those games are included in the 22 XBOX 360 exclusives or the 21 PS3 exclusives
