Ok i know you all have your MGS4 code, but does anyone have a clue as to what the beta entails? I mean, is it a stage you play. Is it the whole game? Is there online. Everyone is all hyped up, but what if you just walk through a tutorial. ..ha ha ha how Anticlimatic would that be?
Well in my eyes, for only $250 i'd go for it. but Some say you can't really tell the difference on a 42". I have a 1080P 42" lcd nad it's great. i've never played a 1080p game on it, so i can't compare gaming, but the bluray is phenominal.
yea getting one when MGS4 comes out. I like how the MGS series uses rumble, i HATE rumble for stupid stuff, like when you get hit in fighting games. But since they are the standard and i need a 2nd controller, i will need one.
Combat was kinda basic, as hard as they tried "not" to make it button mashing, it still came to that. i did'nt obssess over the game enough to memorize all the combos. One thing i would like would be more background interaction. ie: jumping off walls, tables, maybe knock weapons outta enemies hands. i want something more than timed attacks and parries i guess. But the character acting made this game brillant.
Good buddies with a gamestop manager, I actually had 3 different codes and disk. I was like this close...... to selling them on E-bay. Ha ha ha so i gave them to two of my buddies instead. wonder if i could scam Another off of him. see you all on the 21st.
Rockband is a mucher better looking sounding game, but is much easier that GH3. The guitar neck is prettier on the GH3, if that's what your into. GH3 has more "thrasher" type music, while RC sticks to classic and some hard rock. Though if you sing or do drums it's just as challenging if not more than GH3
The 40 gig has wireless, two things are missing, two usb ports and PS2 BC. well i can get a PS2 cheaper than the upgrade, plus i could get a usb splitter if i wanted. I can take the money i saved and by a bigger HD than 80 gig. Plus from what i understood the MGS4 bundles are just for the leftover 80 gig,tehy are not making more of them. So i guess my point is i have no complaints about getting the 40 gig

where did you hear this at...at any rate the 80 gig is selling alot maybe even more than the 40gig in the US. Bundles are created to sell systems hence the reason why EU getting the GT5P bundle and movie bundle. I guess those are just leftovers too hmm
Yes, Sony is only making the 40 gigs from now on, so all the 80gigs that weren't sold to retailers, were being used for the MGS4 bundle. Now i'm not 100% sure on if they would make more 80Gig for the bundle, but why would they, it's a great opportunity to dump the 80 gigs they have. I'm sure there is a decent amount of 80 gigs "left" to make bundles with.
