I've only finished Lunar and FF1 out of those, and after checking my save files, Lunar clocked in at 38 hours and FF1 clocked in at 24 hours. If you're looking for short RPGs, Ys: The Oath in Felghana clocked in at 11 hours on easy for me. It's a pretty good action RPG.

PSP will we get all the games or just a handful? I would really like all of them as of not owning a PSP and im sure alot of people would agree that dont have a PSP but want hte PSP NGP and Sony could get a lot of money.

Wolfetan

I'm confused. Do you mean what games from that PSP2 gameplay trailer will be coming to the PSP2? or did you mean which of them are coming to the PSP-3000?

Anyways, no one really knows for sure (nothing has been made official), but I'll bet all of them will be coming to the PSP2, while none of them will be coming to the 3000.

Controls seem... awkward...LetsPlayer

Seriously? Seems good to me.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited. It seems to have both the ability to play hardcore games with a layout like the PSP, while also play gimmicky games using the motion and the touchpad.

That was just a trailer. I doubt the what they were showing was actually being played by the hands holding the PSP2. It was probably a clips of a direct feed from someone else playing.

Anyways, considering the games don't even have an official announcement, I doubt anyone will be able to answer your question. Just wait until more info on the game comes out.

So I guess that means we'll have to wait for the NGP to play the Patapon 3. Oh well, at least we're still getting it.

I say price-wise, they're both about on par. Having said that, PSP games are on a whole different level than iPhone games.

iPhone games, due to the pricing, will rarely see quality games that are made to be played for more than 10 minutes, and even when they do appear, limits of the controls (covering 25% of the screen with your thumbs is not fun) just completely hinders a lot of the enjoyment. Controls and the screen should NOT be competing with each other. One game I can think of that was good on the PSP but not that great on the iPhone is Crimson Gem Saga.

And I don't think this will change in the future either. Apple isn't going to make the iPhone bigger or give it buttons, and it's too late to jack up the prices as everyone expects quality titles for $1 now. The only reason big budget titles (for portables) can be made for the iPhone is because of the huge number of iPhones out there, and the possible amount of sales. But with the App store continuously becoming cluttered, it is becoming so much easier for games to go completely unnoticed.

With the PSP, the games are so much better (opinionated, I know, but I think you'll agree). Controls feel so much more natural, and you get a nice big screen too. The games have a huge range from the kinds of games you play for hours to the iPhone-like games. Seriously, the PSP is just so much better imo.

[QUOTE="Ventara"]

Probably around release when there are more titles announced. Let's see when they put up the 3DS tab.

But, yeah, I'm pretty excited too. Can't wait for the day when I can click on the PSP2 tab and see a list of awesome games.

Yeah I agree, but honestly I think both systems will be awesome.

Oh yeah, they definitely will both be awesome. When I said let's see when they'll put up the 3DS tab, I meant so that we can use it as a reference for when they'll put up the PSP2 tab.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!

i have to say this u moron. When someone starts a thread of "FREE ROAM GAMES FOR PSP" you are only suppose to include free roam games . Now the only games I didnt see up there are Grand Theft Auto series for the PSP which those games suck because rockstar cant make good quaily game for the handheld systems they only make the good quaily games for XBOX360 OR THE PS3 !!!

Bear620

Seriously, why would you revive a thread over 2 years old just to call the OP a moron. I don't think he's the moron here...

And the rest of your comment just sounds like someone trolling. Please don't post stuff like that without detailing why.

I'm expecting around $300-$350 as well, but I'll be willing to pay up to $500. Bu I honestly think that if Sony wants a good start, $350 is the most they should go. Even though it has worthy specs, a $400 price or more would turn a lot of possible buyers off.
