Still. Dont buy this Tablet sized crud.

And you wonder why you get moderated. Anyways, I don't report people for stuff like this (I find people are too sensitive these days), but comments like this will definitely get on peoples nerves, especially since this is the PSP board. If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything, so the saying goes.

And FYI, the PSP2 is far from a crud. I wholehearthedly welcome the 5 inch screen. Seriously, people's obsession to fit everything in their pocket is ridiculous.

Yes i know the saing. But Sony is JUST making money on the new "unofficial" PSP 2. and i am just PISSED at what they are doing. I mean They could wait another six months and they could have a smaller sized PSP 2 yet they want to sell out and come out now. All my 'beef' is that i know that Sony will come out with an PSP 2 Go in a matter of months yet they bring us this big Tablet CRAP ... NOW!................... come on Sony wait a half a year and maybe a year and then gives us the REAL PORTABLE FOR THE N E X T PSP.

Please dont give out to Sony on their "new" psp, they have to learn. Eather give us the ULTAMITE HARDWAREand postpone the release, or wait a while. I mean ppl have been waitin for YEARS now for the next PSP and You give them their $500 dollar Tabletreplacemant CRAP....... C O M E O N!.

ANYONE WITH ME. I MEAN COME ON!!!!

I don't know about everyone else, but I would hate to have a PSP2 Go instead of this. What I want is a device that I can hold comfortably, a nice big screen, and hardware that can run awesome games, and I think Sony delivered. Sony is FAR from selling out with this device. I wouldn't be surprised to find out if they're taking a loss by selling this device to us, much like the PS3 in it's early days.

Seriously, this is exactly what I want from the PSP2, and the harware is top of the line for portability. By saying stuff like "don't give out to Sony" and "$500 dollar Tabletreplacemant CRAP", you're just sounding like a troll. Everyone has a right to their opinions, but I think you should tone it down. Enough bashing the PSP2 before it's even out.

I'm guessing it would probably be so that only a specific area would react to the R2/L2 commands. I'm holding My PSP right now, and my middle fingers would probably hang somewhere near the bottom of the touchpad on the PSP2, but they can easily move upwards to tap that area. I can definitely see this working. Man, this thing has the ability to have all the buttons of a PS3 controller. It's gonna be awesome.

It doesn't really matter for me, but I suppose if it was via bluetooth, that would be cool, especially if you could do camera chat.

I like tho old XMB beause it was easy to naavigate in. You knew where everything was and could get there pretty quickly. This one seems like it might confuse me with where things are, but maybe it's just that I haven't tried it yet.

It really depends on the games. I'm definitely getting one, but I have more thn enough PSP games to be able to wait. However, if a game comes out for the PSP2 that I really want, then I'll buy one. I'll probably end up buying it since thee's Uncharted.

Two people accidentally clicked "No".

Seriously, I can't think of a single good thing the UMD has over the physical media of the NGP. This is easily a YES for me.

most of the original psp games was bad anyways except, the god of wars and metal gears, thats just my opinion of course, those where some of most half *** developed games except the god of wars and metal gears.

youngmurk911

I couldn't care less about backwards compatibility and I would hope that they don't have it, because the majority of PSP games are, quite frankly, garbage... I'm still really hyped for NGP, but if it's anything like the disaster that was the PSP, then I'm out.

DerpyMcDerp

You guys obviously need to take a better look at the PSPs game library. Plenty of games there that go above and beyond, and the system's far from a disaster.

Anyways, the only game I have on PSN is God of War, which I have on UMD anyways, so backwards compatability isn't gonna be a factor when I'm getting a PSP2.

I'd say a price drop is imminent, though it may not drop until the actual release of the PSP2. In my area, there have been a few places that had it on sale for $100 (the bundled versions)

I'm actually thinking of getting a 3000 myself if I can get a good enough price ($70 or lower) as a backup system for all my UMDs. I have A LOT of unplayed PSP games that I'm planning to finish, and I'd hate for my current PSP to die.

Do not expect any Persona games. Atlus isn't a big company unfortunately and they have developed only one game for the PS3 so far. I don't expect them to be taking chances with the NGP any time soon.

I checked with the list of supporting publishers/developers and Atlus wasn't even mentioned.

ZIVX

Out of the niche titles, I'd say that Persona would probably be a safer bet considering the succes of Persona 3 Portable.
