Glad to see Sony putting more effort into online gaming. I always felt ad-hoc should be secondary to online gaming, as it`s a lot harder to find a gaming partner that way. I`m hoping we`ll get something similar, though it may cost us something like what PSN+ is (maybe it`ll be a part of PSN+), though I`m hoping it would be free.

This is just an estimate, as I usually play a bit on my PSP while I have it charging, but I'd say maybe 2 hours. I have the 1000 with it's original battery (so it's about 5 years old).
If it's your first handheld, it coud be the screen size. I suggest playing another game (preferably a casual game) and seeing if you still have trouble. Also, you drive around and crash a lot in GTA games, so it could just be that game in particular.
Could have been just that moment that you got a headache.LustForSoul
Could be this too. I've had headaches at times without them being related to anything in particular.
It's going to have to UMDs? :o Cool.[QUOTE="Ventara"]
Considering it's releasing in Japan this summer, and that it has been stated it would have 2 UMDs, I highly doubt that,
lazyathew
That's right. It's gonna be the first NA PSP game to do that, unless LoH: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter releases first. I'm probably gonna stare at the UMDs for a good five minutes when I get it.
lol, Gamespot censored the acronym subtitle of the LoH game
I know, the graphics are MIND-BOGGLING.
Seriously though, are you playing it on a bus or a train, cause I've never had this problem sitting still. Maybe it's the brightness?
[QUOTE="Ventara"]Saving up $500 is a big deal especially for university students like myself. Tuition, rent, and bills add up. If i was 25 with a stable career then it would be a different story, however I don't think thats the market Sony is aiming for.Assuming it's as great as I imagine and that it will have great games (there's no doubt in my mind it will), I'd be willing to shell out up to $500 (not that I want it to be at that price though).
Those of you won't even be willing to pay $300, you're being way too optimistic. Just start saving up and it wouldn't be a big deal at launch. But I guess if you're fine with missing out on stuff like Uncharted (you know it's going to happen), great dual analog shooters, a nice wide screen that's pretty much a mini media centre, and PS3 graphics (on a small screen), then that's your choice.

I'm actually going to university myself and am paying it myself. It may not be easy, but having a part time job and saving up makes a difference.

I 100% agree. This game is at least a 9/10 for me, and a truly did enjoy the full 32 hours I played it. Everything was practically perfect for me. I'm realy hoping for another Ys game on the PSP. If it's any consolation, RPGFan.com picked it as the best PSP game of 2010, while Oath in Felghana took best handheld action RPG. made me respect that site that much more. Gameshark on the other hand sucks.
Nintendo should totally create an autobigraphy of it company. They should title it "NINTENDO: Cab Companies, Love Hotels, Video Games, and BEYOND".
The area where sony could beat nintendo in is price point. At launch date it seems that the 3DS will cost you an arm and a leg, if sony makes this next psp with modest hardware and no expensive gimmicks (such as 3D) they could launch it at a lower price than the DS, gaining a huge advantage over Nintendo. I am hoping for some hardcore portable gaming for the next 5 years without causing my hip pocket nerve serious pain, so lets see what sony reveals on the 27th.

Considering the rumours, if even half of it is true, they've already passed "modest hardware". I doubt this will cost less than the 3DS (though I will be pleasantly suprised if it will while living up to the expectations).
As for the design, I actually really like the PSP-3000 look. Any smaller and I feel it would be too awkward to play on. A nice wide screen with the botton on each side is a perfect layout for me. And I barely ever play my PSP for less than 5 minutes, so there's no need to keep it within easy reach (aka pocket). I usually just toss it in my bag.
Wtf? 200 years? You mean like in 1811, they had card games like Pokemon, lol?
