I found a guide on how to do it for you.

Wartzay

Yeah that is probably the best way to go. I've had to do it on both my girlfriends and my own rig for the 4870. After fresh installs, we were getting 80 degree temps on idle, which is just crazy. After using the method above, we're down to 40 on idle using a value of 40%. I think running Crysis for a while, I max out at around 57, which is damn fine in comparison.

I do believe it is possible, as a friend suggested I should do it and linked me to the following:

I haven't tried it, nor do I wish to, but there are DIY guides there for those that are brave enough to give it a go.

Must admit, I too was really disappointed with the ending. It was a Halo 2 ending moment in my opinion. Then I remembered that it is part of a Trilogy after all. (At least I think so? Should research these things beforehand :P)

However, I loved the game to death. I'm currently playing on Delta after having been through it once already. Absolutely love it still. I will admit, the only part of the game I didn't like as much as the rest was indeed the carrier. I have heard others complain about the nightmarish space alien maze, but personally I loved it.

Had been waiting to play this game for a long time, and thanks to a new rig, I was able to. Great game, not so great ending... But then if it is indeed the first in a Trilogy, then I guess it's acceptable :D

I recently put together a new rig, with 4 gig of ram coupled with 32bit Vista, and it registers as 3325 MB. The only thing that prevented me from getting 64bit Vista was the lack of support, and driver signing issues etc. Going to the 64bit version in the future myself, but for now 3 gig is more than enough I would say.

Hmm.. I was under the impression it could do no more than 6 keypresses at a time and was a limitation of USB when compared to PS2 keyboards that could hit 7+. I could be wrong. Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in :D

I run the old version of the G15 and it maxes out at 6.

5.9 in everything. Thanks to a new rig! I'm pretty sure my old system would have received about a 2 >_>

I've had 3 instances where I've had to ring Blizzard and sort things out which involved someone logging my account, mailing off all my gold and selling everything I had. Each time, I had to stay on the line for about 40 minutes, which was a pain, and being in Australia I figured they really wouldn't care, but it turns out they were very nice about it, and sorted the whole mess out for me swiftly. 3 times!

Maybe things are different when one is accused of cheating, who knows, but as for me, it has definitely been the best customer service I've ever received, especially from overseas. Sorry things were different for you, and I hope they resolve it all.

New job listings on Blizzards site. A snippet from one in particular I found rather intriguing:

Lead 3D Environment Artist

Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of Diablo and Diablo II, is looking for a lead 3D environment artist skilled at creating models and texture maps for both architectural and natural environments.

Job listing here.

It's probably nothing important, and I'm probably reading too much into it, but it does seem a little odd to me to specifically point out Diablo and Diablo II.

Oh well, thought I'd share my thoughts on that anyway :P

Mankind will bring about its own destruction and demise via some major technological breakthrough.

Well, either that, or we'll be safe and sound until a giant Asteroid wipes out our entire planet...

Think I'll go build that bomb shelter now...
