I went through some troubles trying to get mine up and running as well, even installing dodgy drivers until I found the XBCD ones.
1. SC2 isn't released yet so no one knows.
2. Both games are totally different. SC2 is on a smaller scale, similar to the original. Supreme Commander is MASSIVE maps with huge size forces battling it out.
As for "ultimate rts", every upcoming rts is hyped to be "the ultimate". Instead of comparing and choosing, why not enjoy as many of the great games as you can?

Agreed. Well said =D
Heavy Gear, most memorable opening cut scene.sSubZerOo
I'd have to agree.
Final Fantasy VIII's opening still stands strong in my book. (Hey, it was released on PC too :P)
It certainly doesn't sound too far fetched. I mean with Blizzard, anything is possible.
If I were to make my own personal prediction, I'd say that a Diablo 3 or a Diablo MMO, if you will, is more likely. But hey, that's just my own personal prediction. It just seems to me that Diablo's time is due. Meh, either way I'd be happy. If it's Blizzard, its gotta be good.
Though I'm not so sure on the whole MMO thing... I too am a recovered WoWcrack addict.
Aye, 2 days isn't really much to go on, but be careful. It's a very addictive game, and I think that's why it's such a success. It practically prints money for Blizzard non-stop. I was once addicted, and would spend 10 - 12 hours a day playing, would even take days off work just to spend time raiding. Quite sad, and very frightening now that I look back on those dark times.
Haven't played in over 8 months, and I wish I had never played. Simply because of the impact it was having on my day to day life. Just be careful. I've witnessed relationships and marriages fall apart from this game. But then, addiction has that affect on people :P
Can't really add anything to this thread, so consider it more of a justification of what everyone else here has said. Play in moderation! :P
