Almost 3 months ago, I actually purchased all 4 DMC games on Ebay, in a bundle type package. (DMC1, 2, 3 and 3:SE) I also got 3 pretty used looking guides in it. At the time, I thought it was a bargain because I couldn't find a collection anywhere, and had to own all the games. I paid roughly $175 AUD.

Figures that there is actually a DMC Collection out now, and had I held off a little longer, I would have saved a heap! *head slap*

Also, DMC2 is kind of a gray area, you either like it or hate it. I personally cannot stand it alongside 1 and 3. I just can't bring myself to play it again unlike the others. At the price of the collection though, who cares? :P

Halo 2.

Doom 3.

Quake 4.

Devil May Cry.

Devil May Cry 3 - Although rather painfully.

Half Life 2.

God of War.

I'm certain there's a few more, but that's all I can think of.

Black_Knight_00

How can you possibly beat Doom3 in one day? There's more than 20 hours of gameplay in it, unless you're on cheats.

No cheats.

I believe I sat there from about 7pm one Saturday night and finished up at about 2pm the next day. That's still a day right? :P

I was probably one of the few who loved the game, nobody I knew enjoyed it, I however, was hooked. Then of course, I never touched it again... >_>

Same with Quake 4, I enjoyed every bit of that. Twas significantly shorter though.

I would try booting into safe-mode i.e. F8 at boot, if the lag goes away, then you know it's caused by a program running in the background.--Anna--

You know, I wish I had thought of this several years ago. I had the exact same lagging problem with a Microsoft Wireless keyboard, and just assumed it was dodgy.

I returned it the next day, and got me a Logitech G15, and everything was fine again.

So I had always assumed it was interference with the wireless...

I'm curious to see where this goes, because I've always been put off by wireless technology ever since the lagging issue, I'll smack my head against the desk if it turns out it was simply software afterall!!! :|

EDIT: Okay, turns out i missed the word "Wired" in your post. My bad :P Still, interesting to see if it's software related or not though...

Star Ocean: Till the end of time.

I invested a lot more time into this game than I thought I would.

If gaming is a sport, then I'm an athlete! :D

In all seriousness, I wouldn't classify gaming as a sport. Though I do recall some games getting the adrenaline pumping. Maybe you're onto something here?

Suppose I better go and 'work out' ^_^

I'd have to go with the final fight against Virgil in DMC3.

That really messed me up. I can very clearly recall cursing and throwing the PS2 control around. Good times! In fact, I think the entire game had that effect on me >_>

Seriously though, Virgil owned me good :D

Aye Planet Elder Scrolls is pretty damn good. I think I spent 4 hours searching through the best mods I could find!

Actually, Blizzard started off with consoles and then moved onto the PC. Their original titles includes the Lost Vikings and a combat racing game (which the title of escapes me atm). So, no, I don't think they have a vendetta against consoles.

Now, while I don't personally think Blizzard is amazing as it used to be (still great though), I believe they don't like to "cash-in" but prefer to actually produce quality titles for the platforms that they are top quality for. I rarely see them mention SC64 on their sites, so I imagine they personally deem that as a mistake (like how they never mention Hellfire since Sierra didn't do a great job with it).

With that all said, I'm sure if the leads come up with a great idea for a game that makes good use of the DS tools, they wouldn't be afraid to jump into it. But for now, they have tons to keep them busy with their 3 main IPs.PuRe_CaNaDiaN_

Agreed!

I think the main reason we never saw Ghost is because as you say, they prefer to actually produce quality titles, and in their own books, they had doubts. So the potential is there, they are just renowned for their extremely high quality and don't wish to tarnish their reputation, or let down their loyal fan-base.

PS. The combat racing game you refer to was Rock and Roll Racing! Awesome game back in the day. Provided endless hours of fun on the SNES :D

Absolutely love my Logitech G15. It has been through hell and back, and works flawlessly after so much punishment. The only result of its constant use seems to be the black stripping off a few of the keys, causing me to have a few clear, unlabelled bright-blue keys here and there. (Which actually look quite funky 8))

Best investment I've made in a keyboard for a while. Errr, Probably the only investment I've made in a keyboard, considering before this I've usually just gone with the cheapo's!:D
